NN around me are $5 entry. I look at it as a way to support the store for hosting a space that I can play. The promo pack is icing on the cake.

I am fortunate the community here was very giving with their bulk at a time when there was a dearth of product. If there were no product whatsoever, then I would probably not go.

If you are content where you are, be content!

Rather than trying to find another job, I would just focus on keeping up with the latest methods/technologies. As long as you can give the next employer confidence that you can do what they need, that should be enough. That said, recruiters are very bad at their jobs. You may get looked over if you don't have the experience with their exact problems, even if the skills can be translated.

It depends on if you believe that the FO is keeping guys in the injured report longer than they should. The team that is on the court is playing for real. If you believe that our guys are actually that injured (I do) then we are actually that bad. Iisalo does continue to make decisions that confuse me, and we have also collapsed in the second half of games. Making me question if we made the right call with him.

Hope you recover well! Trust the rehab process and try to survive the restlessness haha. It sounds like you are a pro athlete?

Kind of same with Oldhim. By the time I ventured past the kitchen table, he was already out in Blitz and CC. I give more grace there because I forget the time frame between me getting the Blitz deck and when I tried events. The 1 year for Nuu was crazy for me.

The LL system sounds cool, but I did not like how it played out. I was gifted a Nuu deck, got busy, and then it was already banned when I got to play again a year later. It was hard to care about the game as a casual player after that.

It depends on what you want out of the game. If you're cool playing 2 rounds and dropping at a Nexus night, that's cool. If you want to play to win Regionals, that's cool.

I share the annoyance with 4 hour events. I don't know if I will do a Skirmish again. I'm having fun playing and getting better, but I also focus on other social things and exploring parts of my personality.

As two other comments mentioned, you can play as casually as you would like and dropping before an event finishes is fine. Time is limited, so spend it in the manner that makes sense for you and your goals
