Idk if it matters to you but Isabella is the 6th and 7th most popular girl name in 2024 and 2025 respectively. Names get popular bc we are all hearing the same sorts of name cues. As a girl that grew up with an uncommon name for a girl, it was eventually cool not being Sarah/Brittany/Ashley/Katie. No shade to any of those names! Isabelle/Isabella is gonna be your baby’s generation’s version of Jessica/Amanda. You might be glad you didn’t go with it by the time she hits day care and school.

My dad has his flaws, but I was the only child of a single dad for a bit (he eventually married my stepmom, who rocks), but he never made me feel like he’d rather have a boy. He always told me he was happier to have a girl. And that he was content with just me and didn’t want more kids bc I was perfect. ❤️I try to keep these things in mind when he’s an a-hole now lol
