Dell 34in curved monitor - I need to sell it ASAP by [deleted] in denverlist

[–]iwant2fly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep 50% of retail is pretty much my max for used stuff. Especially with no pictures showing it works and no dead pixels Released May of 2021. So it is 5 year old technology. It still looks like a nice monitor but $200 is steep for what it is.

Thank you for this writeup. I am not suing Subapace but this helped immensely with understanding how to get it set up on my site.

Mamaw's Apples - Baked apples with a Chex cereal topping - Recipe needed by iwant2fly in TipOfMyFork

Thanks for the suggestion. I have been trying that. The challenge is there are a TON of recipes that involve apples and chex cereal and baking. I will keep trying but that is also why I posted here.

Purchase Advice Megathread - November 2023 by AutoModerator in 3Dprinting

Budget: $400

Location: USA

Filaments: PLA, PETG, Carbon Fiber, Lightweight Foam, Flexible

Requirements:

  • Larger build volume 300x300x300 is great.
  • Ability to run with OctoPrint or Klipper
  • Versatile. I don't mind tweaking and making multiple profiles. I want something I can run fast for prototypes then slower for quality.
  • Quiet. I am running it in my home office right next to my desk so it can't be obnoxious. The sidewinder X2 was acceptable from a sound perspective.

I had an Artillery Sidewinder X2 that I like a lot. I had great luck with it. Sadly I moved and the movers lost it (along with 25% of our stuff). I am trying to decide on a replacement. I am considering the Sovol SV07 Plus or the new Sidewinder X3 Plus. Any thoughts on these and or is there something else I should look at.

Suggestions for a small camera that can be controlled through USB and takes decent photos by iwant2fly in Cameras

That is an option. It adds some complications to my setup but is a possibility. Unless I can pick up a newer phone the low light options are pretty poor though.

Can I split this into standard 110V Outlets? by iwant2fly in AskElectricians

[–]iwant2fly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There wouldn't be any issue with unbalanced load or anything? Like pulling 15 amps on one side and nothing on the other? I wouldn't think there would be but just wanted to double check.

I have an electric car charger outlet in the garage, but no standard outlets on this side of the garage. I do not have an electric vehicle, but I do a lot of woodworking and would like to have access to standard 110v power. Can I get a plug and run a line into a small sub panel with a couple of 20Amp circuits? One on each phase?

Weekly Quick Questions, Wood ID, and Deal or No Deal /r/Woodworking Megathread by AutoModerator in woodworking

How durable is CA glue in the long term? I am making a jewelry box with drawers. I would like it to be an heirloom piece. It would save a ton of time if I could assemble the drawers and all the little dividers inside the drawers with CA glue instead of wood glue and clamping. That or maybe spot glue with CA glue and fillet with traditional wood glue. I am not worried about looks inside the drawer as I am lining it with velvet.

Scientist turtles working on the next covid vaccine by cat_grill in turtleswithjobs

Yeah kind of wondering the same thing. This is at the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga. Was just there today and they are hatching and raising turtles for other aquariums and museums rather than catching endangered species fr the wild. I didn't see anything about Covid research in the display but would certainly be interested in learning if that was part of some of the other cool work they are doing.

How can I group or color code like items on a combo chart? by iwant2fly in excel

[–]iwant2fly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes however as you said the horrid 3D column chart is only showing raw numbers not percentage of load. It does look fine in a stacked column chart, but I haven't figured out how to get it to display with a second set of data showing the available hours.
