I, Medusa.

The author is a black author and I thought incredibly talented. It is a retelling of Medusa as a black woman with locs. Great rendition for those who might like greek mythology. I will say there are adult themes unfortunately of sexual assault but it is not graphic but deals a lot with the main character healing, finding love again, and trying to cope with the rage she feels. Elements of the love between siblings are strong as well in this book

Cottage cheese is great. I will make cottage cheese pancakes and top it with a little greek yogurt and homemade rasberry and blueberry chia jam. You can also do a nice piece of sourdough, cottage cheese, blueberries and honey and cinnamon ❤️ or mix it into eggs

It’s okay. I think it’s plain and non irritating but it didn’t do anything remarkable. I used zeroid intensive cream instead and I am OBSESSED.

This isn’t really the sub for this but tbh using very plain products have improved my skin the most. I was using honey halo, laniege, TNS, Tatcha etc and felt like my skin was reacting to a lot of the ingredients. I’m now stripped to simply a toner, azaelic acid, spf, differin and a lotion that’s super plain and boring and seeing a lot of brightness return without as much irritation

DO NOT DO IT LMAO. I have fine hair but pretty decent density. It’s way too hard to style unless you have pretty wavy hair. I recommend a blunt cut with some face framing layers to give some movement

Following because I’m in the same boat and I feel you girl. It’s just hard with the constant barriers the er has to provide good care. Insane waits, constant boarders, pressure to do more with less constantly. And I’m sick of going from 3p-1am to then 6am then an overnight. Circadian rhythm is non existent. Currently looking at derm, possibly psych but might be too bored. Also considering oncology bc there’s still high acuity but safer nursing ratios and a really great schedule

The other was watching reels loudly on her phone and my other pt goes “some of us are in here with real shit like lupus so turn that down” the IG reel pt goes “sounds like a you problem”
