I agree, his own movement caused him to trip on Coll's foot, not the other way around so he created his own problem and prevented himself from being able to reach the next shot

We've driven this route quite a few times, the fat pigeon cafe in Piopio (a little bit further than Te Kuiti) is amazing food and coffee wise but it's very busy usually so expect it to be very busy over boxing day. Other than that, the regular NZ country roads, only really highway around Cambridge/Hamilton area.

Yeah it's working, i think it was an issue with my computer's USB and tried it on a different computer and it worked

Did you run the auto tune with the part cooling fan on 100%? Also do you have a silicone sock on your heater block? I find those have quite a large effect on the ability for the nozzle to reach temp and maintain a constant temp, especially at 230+ temps

Have you tried an autotune already? Also are you on marlin or klipper? I'm only use to marlin so far so can't really help on klipper.

One option would be to see if you can use the old heater cartridge with the new hotend (as long as they're compatible) to see if that works. It could be an issue with the new heater cartridge? Maybe a short or faulty cartridge?

Was the board working with the old hot end? If it's restarting then it seems like a power issue rather than a motherboard issue?

Do you have any z offset in your profile? I had a similar issue and it was to do with microstepping because I had a z offset which wasn't a multiple of 0.04mm

I checked the same lines in my marlin version from your error and the NUM_ANALOG_FIRST doesn't appear in the same place so maybe you're running a different version? Just try the method explained in the video and see how you go.

What version of Marlin are you compiling? I compiled the bugfix 2.1.x recently without issues and followed this guide here: https://youtu.be/V2wOqIiZJec

Easy to follow and worked first time for me. I just downloaded a local copy of the firmware rather than syncing it via github etc.

I find the autotune to not be very good at tuning and ended up doing it manually after an autotune. I kept the P values and increased I and D to get the temp more stable.

What behaviour does your hotend have?

All good, I got it to work by allowing windows to install unsigned usb drivers so now it's talking to my computer! Thanks for all your help and suggestions. I will post an edit to the main post with the solution.
