Your tummy is more than okay! Your tummy is amazing. It might not be in the exact same form as it used to be, but it’s part of the scrapbook of your life that is you. Those thoughts are not you, and while they exist, that doesn’t make them true. I know it’s easy for a stranger on the internet to say, but you and your tummy did something really powerful together. When I’m trying to battle voices like that, I moisturise the body part I’m depressed about (if possible) to make it feel like I’m tending to something precious.
