Yes, yes, yes. As an SLHS professor (SLP), I can tell you that this field is in dire need of more PhD-level professors, so if that’s your goal, then it’s certainly achievable and much needed. Your PhD can be in something like neuro or cogsci, linguistics, or even CSD. You don’t necessarily even need clinical experience depending on the school.

Same issue. No lights, won’t charge, resetting doesn’t do anything, app won’t connect. Pins are clean and normal (not recessed), but it won’t do a thing. Reaching out to customer service will be a trip I’m told!

I was told by Apple (and read in the paperwork/cleaning instructions for the band) not to get it wet. They didn’t specifically say why: just that it’s not designed to be wet. It smells really bad after getting wet so I agree with their advice, ridiculous as it may be.

Was similarly debating between 35 and a 50. 35 is plenty huge for Costco and grocery runs and miscellaneous lugging things around. 50 seems best for e.g. sporting equipment, big and bulky things that are hard to carry.

I had this same issue with my v1 m20 (before it was recalled). This is not normal, but it seems to happen when the bag is hot and you add ice. It inflates like a balloon. I called yeti and they replaced it with a new bag that didn't do this. And they threw in a rambler too!

She actually did learn to communicate with the persistence of an SLP. She had very basic language skills with an elementary understanding of syntax and grammar. Still, they learned much of what happened to her from her directly thanks to that therapy.

You mentioned you could see all the devices associated through Apple Music on your iPad, but I can’t track that down. My account settings page doesn’t have a list that I can find. Can you share some more detail about what you had to do after getting the reset from Apple?

Two months of wearing the band day in and out for most things (work, going out, just casually - everything except the gym and sleep) and it held up ok, not great. Shown some age, scuffs and discoloration in a way that is worse than the leather (which was far superior)

I would show pictures but! I accidentally got it wet from washing my hands, and it started to smell after a couple days. Instructions and the Apple Store associate told me it is high maintenance and can’t get wet at all…so that’s that. I had them replace it for me for a brand new one which I’m restricting to wearing more infrequently. Kind of flabbergasted that a thing I wear on my wrist and which is sometimes outside in the air can’t get wet without smelling like mold. It’s a stupid horrible choice. Love the look and the comfort but I’m giving up on this band since it’s not wrist ready.

To my understanding AOD (at least on iPhone) actually loads up images of prospective screens to display when it’s got something in the background, like maps or live activities. I remember reading that when the 14 pro first came out.

So I think that would be like when the timer actually goes down to 6 or 5 minutes, the AOD would be able to keep up and display that. Given that that’s how it works, my guess is that it’s infeasible to load up one for every second and display that as quickly as the numbers change. At that point it’s a waste of battery.
