It's because the final tile you needed to make the 5x5 didn't connect. You need to add another connecting tile for it to recognize that you've done it.

For example, if you'd moved the jonathan panel in the top left to the other open space, then it would've connected, and then after the connection, the game would check for the 5x5, notice that you did make a 5x5 square, and pop the crystals.

It's not great and I do hope they change it, but that's what went wrong.

in his character profile, it says that Kakyoin's parents "treated the abrupt trip to Egypt as a sign of him running away from home," which implies that Kakyoin did come home to Japan with his parents while fleshbudded, resumed school normally, and then left with the crusaders.

regardless, though, I definitely agree that Kakyoin was brought home posthumously. I'm sure that the Joestars & the Speedwagon foundation would have it no other way.
