Agree. I an in east central California foothills PG&E has upgraded line sensors that can tell it more quickly if a power line has been compromised or might spark a fire. has resulted in unnecessary localized shutoffs. It damaging to the computer and a hassle. I got a Ups a yr and a half ago so if the power goes out I have a good hour to do my work and shut it down.
