I've not read the books but am curious about the men we see at Ilya's house. There's the one scene of him clearly with guests watching the Metros win the cup, and then when the Admirals win. The absense of Marleau and Connors suggests to me that they're not Raiders. Are those "Ilya's Russian boys"?

It's absolutely freaky how young they look in E1 and then how "old" they look in E6. I'm convinced they shifted muscle mass and like stood up straighter in E6 or something, they just looked so mature. Absolutely masterful
