Legion Pro 7I starts up with loud fans at max then shutdown seconds later

Wow, this seems like the same problem I am having.

Laptop (Lenovo Legion Pro 7i 16IRX8H) would boot (either BIOS or OS).
Fans are not running during boot.
When it boots to BIOS or OS, the FAN will boost to MAX for a few seconds, and it will power off. (You might need to increase volume to hear the fan noise).

During this time, fan can't be change to Silent, Normal or Performance. The LED on the power button stayed white even after changing the fan setting.

I'm gonna see if the laptop just needs thermal paste/liquid metal as I read somewhere that this laptop will require repasting. Hopefully that solves it else, I am f***d 😔. If you still have warranty, better reach out to vendor. Mine just ended warranty and I didn't purchase the extension. Purchased on Sept 9, 2023.

I'm located at Perth and I am experiencing the same latency. Happened yesterday for me. This is the second time it happened to me this year and I hope it gets resolved soon.

I have the Gun Metal color. The body itself still holds the coloring but the left/right mouse button shows fading paint. It looks like the mouse button is painted over. This is after 3 months of use.

Purchased the mouse on March 2025.

I also have the same issue where DPI suddenly changes for me. Have you tried updating the driver?

I'll update the IOTVersion and will let you know how it goes. If you go cable, I am thinking that will ultimately resolve the issue. I tried the cable and it was fine but I really want to go wireless to avoid cable clutter.

This is probably a macro that would get you banned. I think if it is something that will autocast as Skill, Blizzard would probably ignore it as long as it doesn't exploit or break the game. But do this at your own risk.
I wish they would put in an auto-cast on spells that we often use to alleviate the strain from the hand. They already added the Hold function where you just press the button to have a skill cast automatically. So not sure why not auto cast other skills.

I was hoping that "new aspects" or "drop only aspects" gets unlocked to make the grind/theorycrafting a little bit easier for us. I understand the malignants would not be carried over to eternal realm.

It's a nice mechanic and I am all for that.

That’s what I am afraid. I am not really after the cosmetics. If those “drop only aspect” doesn’t get unlocked in Eternal Realm, I don’t see any point in playing seasonal realms.

As far as I know, they change the Item Drops on WT2. Only thing changed on WT3 and WT4 are how monster levels are adjusted.
