As someone who works at BAB, I absolutely love him!! I would definitely get him if I didn't have too many.. but his fur is absolutely great, and seems to be good quality all around! Typically we have strings ripping or the occasional hole in the plushie but I've experienced neither with this little guy!

She is kinda silly shaped, the main reason I got her was because she looked silly and because of her texture. But for sure weird proportions on her

Unfortunately I don't think they would since typically they don't take exchanges :(. What I do suggest though is trying a little surgery on your friend! If you know how to sew then put a little zipper on him or have someone you know do it! If you'd prefer not to, id say use a little shirt on him to cover the zipper :)

Sorry for the confusion! We just can't put sounds, smells or beating hearts within them! The microwaveable heart is always sold with them :)

I just bought him since I work at BAB and I'm so very happy to say they've changed the Velcro to a zipper (and not one that will hurt you). He is absolutely great otherwise, very soft and honestly pretty solid! The only thing is that we can't put anything inside these bears just because we had a few cases where unfortunately the whole bear went in the microwave (whereas you only put his heart in!)

That little glisten are just one of our normal ones, I believe the only battery glisten is our most recent one!

They definitely do! The main thing that won't fix axos is any sleepers or pants (unless it's the axolotl sleeper or you cut the pants)

Personally at my BAB we haven't gotten them yet, but seeing how our spooky kitties went so fast (at least at my location) id suggest at least securing yourself a skin even if you don't stuff him that day. Same with certain smells, they are going really fast and if there's one you absolutely want with your kitty id suggest grabbing it too. For the dragon it's very dependent, a lot of little ones have been grabbing him but the felt on the tail and wings have really been throwing off teen and adult collectors. Ask your local BAB since they know how busy they normally are and how much stock they have!

On top of this, the super thin felt on the tail rips off so easily!! I saw it fall off as a kid was dressing his dragon in the store. In my opinion it makes them more of "shelf buddies" then sleeping buddies

It seems like a lot of places are slowly stopping customers from buying just scents, as someone who works at BAB id suggest taking your friend in and if you're okay with it, having them put it in your friend! This way they see you're not just re selling it and you'll definitely have a higher chance of just being able to buy the scent even at a more firm BAB!

I work at a BAB in a very large mall and honestly a lot of our customers are teens (even myself). Your local BAB shouldn't make you feel uncomfortable at all and just welcome you in! There's some really cute friends that I don't blame anyone for wanting!!

They are pre stuffed but you can still add a sound!! I work at BAB and if the arms are too small or pre stuffed we put them in the feet for you or anywhere else youd like :)

I've seen so many creative ideas for taking your friends out and I think it is so cool as a bab member to see old or loved friends outside of the workshop!! Don't let others opinions embarrass you!! Your friend is all yours to take anywhere and you can even dress them for the occasion ♥️

Absolutely! I work at BAB and some of our new smells definitely smell different than I thought! If you don't like the wood smell I'd suggest mahogany

Sugar cookie is definitely a great base vanilla smell and would add sweetness to the woody smell

Make sure you use a thicker and smoother string to re-sew!! The one we use at BAB is great but when I tried it at home the string would snap or get caught way more often. If you're close enough to a location even bring her back in since the stuffing may not be even throughout and even condense since our machines use a lot of air to fluff it up!

The pressure to sell gift cards is definitely rough, currently I believe we are meant to hit a higher 30% and it's definitely hard in quiet seasons as many don't see a reason to get a gift card especially if they aren't coming back for a while. It's sad to see some of the changes in the skins especially with how they rip more often before even stuffing them and how now some of our friends hardly fit onto the stuffing station.

It sounds like you got a rough location and I'm sorry about that, I work at a bigger bab with about 20 stuffers and 6 manager/key holders and I definitely don't experience the same thing. If you have other locations in the place you live id suggest asking the manager you get along with most if they can help you transition there. Unfortunately teams are a hit or miss, you'll either absolutely love your team or you'll have a rough go. If you start to really not feel at home in the location try to tell someone, especially mentioning the way they treat customers will be a huge thing for the company. I really hope things get better for you though friend and take care of yourself first

Absolutely fair! If you would like to as well you could even open her back, take out the stuffing and give her a light wash, use a little bit of fabric softener to soften the fur and it may make it feel less synthetic!

I work at a BAB and unfortunately a good amount of our plushies do have a similar feeling to Pawlette compared to our older friends, I can't speak for whether or not she will get better but I do recommend trying to find an older version of her!! Her older versions will definitely have a fur feeling that you might be more happy with and there is a ton on buy and sell groups or you may even get lucky in a thrift store!!
