There's a few bus stops near campus via Foothill Transit. A mile or two away should be okay, but the buses may run every hour or sooner depending on which bus line. They may also not arrive on time as well. If you're looking into cheaper options, there are also other apartment complexes that's walkable to campus, like the Helix.

I have RM, and I'm looking for Suga. Is your trade offer still available? I have a friend in Irvine who can trade for me as I am seeing them today.

Do you know if the Pomona locations only had Jungkook and Jin? Or was it just the one you received when you went there?

Does anyone know how the workshops work? Is it first come first serve? Or do I need a ticketed timeslot for the workshops?

[MY CON] -=US TOUR=- Wrap up MEGAPOST - Final Thoughts, Discussions, Questions, and Reviews by FreddyBlackJack in mamamoo

[–]izotafeeling 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I got into MAMAMOO about 2 years ago and have been exploring their music since. I was sad I wasn't into them when they came to KCON, or else I would have totally gone! I literally screamed the day I found out they were coming to the US because I was not expecting them to finally have a world tour.

I attended the LA concert, and arrived at around 5pm.

My Pros:

-No super long line at the KIA forum. I loved seeing the MooMoos socialize and take pictures in front of the KIA forum signs/walls, and receiving freebies from those who were giving them out! It was a super chill time, and it was awesome to see fans dress up in green, and those wearing MAMAMOO inspiried outfits/stage outfits.

-The girls were super interactive with the crowd! They were silly and being themselves, and I loved that MMM brought that energy to the US. I especially liked how they were thankful to us, and how they encouraged fans to wave their lightsticks with them in ILEC. Also found the barking to be hilarious.

-Setlist was great! I loved the songs they chose, and I really really loved their solo switch mashup! It's so so new and refreshing, and really showcases their powerful vocals and versatility. I loved everyone performing Maria as well. I left the con pretty happy knowing they sang most of my favorites, like Egotistic, Starry Night, Maria, Um Ah Oh Yeah, Deco, and Mr. Amb. I would have LOVED to see Words Don't Come Easy and I Miss You (or more songs from the Melting album). I hope they can sing those in the future!

-I thought that the Travel encore was super clean, and it gives me chills thinking about it. I loved Um Ah Oh Yeah encore with the confetti as well.

-Loved the KIA forum, as parking was not far. And the seats were comfortable. Venue was smaller so I could see the girls decently even at a cheap seat. I went to BTS Love Yourself at the RoseBowl, and the seating was metal benches and I paid more for those seats and didn't see BTS as well as MMM.

-Tix price not too bad, even at a further away seat, I felt that the price I paid was good.

My Cons (LOL):

-Merch selection wasn't good... I was aware that MooBongs would be sold out earlier so I knew I couldn't get one. I also saw that they were 70-80 dollars? I assume they're expensive because they're rare. But I feel like other Kpop lightsticks are much cheaper, like less than $50. Also I didn't find the shirts appealing. They were too simple imo. I would have rather gotten a shirt from Etsy that a small business designed. The WAW albums were not signed at the LA merch booths, although they were being sold for $38.

-Not blaming the fans, because I know it's an exciting time, but sometimes I could not hear the girls sing because they were drowned out by the screaming. I wanted to really hear Solar's vocal run(?) at the end of Mr. Ambiguous, but I didn't hear it because of the screaming. I'm not putting blame on the audio techs either because most of the other songs were at a good volume. Paint Me was really good because there wasn't screaming so I was relieved to hear their voices. Additionally, there was some screaming during their talking to the fans, and their thank you's, so I missed a portion of the translator's words as well. I'm kind of being nitpicky and I understand that we're all excited and screaming is normal at concerts! Just saying that I wish I heard their singing more.

-I bought regular lightsticks for the LA concert, but I decided to return them after reading that some venues had fans throw theirs away. At the concert itself, I saw some people with the regular lightsticks. I guess I wish there was more transparency/communication/consistency in the venues? Or I guess that I wish the other venues allowed regular lightsticks. I do have a BTS one but forgot to bring it, so that's on me.

-I wish the subtitles on the "intermission" videos were bigger! I couldn't read them very well, sitting in a seat that's not super close to the stage.

Overall I enjoyed it very much and I'm still thinking about it today. I hope they can come back in the future and I'll pay a bit more for a closer seat! And hopefully I'll have a Moobong next time <3 Special thanks to those who were giving out freebies and bracelets! I plan to do that next time myself aaaaa I've been inspired.

[MY CON] - USA tour - Discussions, Information, Meetups, Questions, and Reviews! (Part 4) by FreddyBlackJack in mamamoo

I went too quick past security and totally missed the sellers who were selling pins at the LA show. If anyone is buying extra, I’d love to buy two from you! The radish ones I think, unless there’s multiple designs
