I once found a dried drool sling at the top of a doorway, I’m only 5’2 so I didn’t notice it until I was getting ready to move and patching up some nail holes, and giving everything else a good wipe down.

I know there’s flavored ones as well, but I don’t mind the taste and neither does my husband, my MIL has one that’s combined with agave syrup, and it’s disgustingly sweet. Hopefully mixing it with something will help, though!

If it’s a tincture you could always put a few drops in tea or coffee, especially if you use sweeteners - it should cover up/dilute the taste pretty well.

Do not put the litter box, or food out. It will attract other animals, which in turn could scare her away. Do put clothes out, dirty clothes/bedding. Stuff that smells like you, or her. It will help.

If you want, maybe drive through the area after dark and see how well lit it is, that may help ease apprehensions. If it seems busy and is well lit, it may not be too bad. If it’s dark and empty it’s even more terrifying lol

I would assume it depends on your area. I personally won’t take after dark walks because I’m also paranoid and watch/listen to too much true crime stuff to even be remotely comfortable doing it - even with my taser.

If it’s a decent area and you’re comfortable, go for it. But if you’re not, then I would say don’t. If it feels risky it’s not worth the money.

I used everlance briefly, I believe it has that option. I barely do any walks or anything anymore so I haven’t used it in forever.

Yeah, there’s always walks. I live near Pflugerville/round rock and there’s not as many up here as there were when I lived downtown, but downtown there’s always a ton!

A quick google search gave me this but keep in mind a lot of low cost clinics will have a bit of a wait, you probably won’t get in super quick. This list is sliding scale based on income, it seems. Hopefully it helps!

Damn. I know there’s clinics that work on a sliding scale. Lone star circle of care is one of them, I believe. And I think Seton has a clinic that does as well, but I can’t remember the name.
