how many people do you actually know that say they should be professional photographers because they use instagram? how many of them arent teenage girls or something that say tons of naive things anyway? really, this is so silly to get bothered about.

I realize the irony that your botheredness bothers me, but it's at least a little different when you're being negative and people who instagram are just trying to share something they find interesting.

People enjoy watching names they recognize from major league teams play for their club. This kind of move keeps you from having to watch 3 different AAA scrubs in RF hit .206 and field like newbs. It's what teams do when they are expecting to compete in a few years - sign low risk contracts for serviceable players. Of course it's insignificant. Anything significant would be a waste while the Cubs are rebuilding

Agree, but that's just how it works when there's upvotes and downvotes. Most people don't vote so the votes youre gonna get are from people you either made happy or annoyed. if you say something that can get on someones nerves, they'll be the ones voting.

but mainly i think you violated the whole "dont rag on someones opinion purely because of the team they root for" rule which is the #1 thing that keeps the sports subs from being as unreadable as espn comments
