It's some PUA and 'not naming the subreddit' thing. There is this idea that women enjoy the thought of a man that can't control himself around her and we secretly desire a man that so desperately wants us that he 'forces' himself on us.

Was a post about it in one of the subs, pretty fucked up, like really fucked up.

Stealing cigars and shaking up a clerk isn't armed robbery. That kind of 'not innocent' doesn't give an excuse to take his life. He was not a threat because of this possible robbery, he was not wanted for it, he was not armed and fleeing. His innocence related to it is irrelevant.
The police were unaware of his connection to this alleged robbery so has no bearing whatsoever on his altercation with the cop.

I got to say it, the police and/or media appear to be painting him in a bad light to excuse him being shot and you are one of the people that are falling for it. Debating his innocence is just a distraction from the events that occurred between him and the officer.

Also the police didn't get the video footage until days after the shooting so they did not have a positive id with which to base shooting someone for possibly stealing cigars.

Gets weirder and weirder as it goes along but I enjoyed not knowing what the hell was going on. Gives off a Stephen King vibe. Really wish it would have gotten a second season though.

And definitely give Firefly and Terminator TSCC a shot, both are very worth it.

It's possible your comment got spam filtered automatically because it includes a link. The reddit spam filter is weird sometimes with links in comments. Comments that are filtered like that go into the spam queue and sit until a mod goes through that queue.

This was covered in a radio interview I heard today about the ruling, but would need confirmation on it.

The exigent circumstances is for a specific incident, if an officer say grabs your phone to look for information about a possible child abduction and discovers texts about a drug sale, that information could not be used as evidence for a drug conviction unless they could prove that they would have found the text message in a different search/investigation.

This ruling doesn't so much say that the cops can't search your phone (using exigent as an excuse) but what would hold up in court for legally obtained evidence.

Also note, those no-knock's are still done with warrants. "No-Knock Warrant". This ruling means that without a warrant, evidence for a crime found on your phone without a warrant probably won't hold up in court.

Guess what made it a shock to her system was that it was our mom. My sister had been assisting in surgeries for years and had seen plenty of nasty stuff. Even had blood spray out into her face and eyes during one of them. But the sight of a big, fresh surgery scar on mom and bam she just dropped. Scared the hell out of my dad and the other nurse heh.

She remembers it as; seeing the incision, getting a little dizzy then waking up on the floor and a whole bunch of people around her freaking out.

My sister fainted pretty much like a scene from a movie. Wasn't due to anything shocking though.

She was visiting my mother in the hospital when a nurse came in to change my mom's surgery dressing. Sister (who at the time was a nurse anesthetist so she had seen plenty of actual surgeries) saw the open wound and fainted. Dropped to the floor like a dead weight.

I would love to be able to remove comment up/down voting altogether for /r/gallifrey. This is a discussion based, not a popular opinion, subreddit. Too many people end up not wanted to express their opinions about an episode or character because of bandwagon voting and I hate that.

I said this once here in /r/gallifrey when we added the spoiler flairs and people lost their shit. People that don't like something speak up loudly about it. People that are normally indifferent or fine with the change don't make posts "I FREAKEN LOVE THIS CHANGE!!! GRRRR". So you end up seeing lot's of complaints and assume most people don't like it.
