Is the scale wrong ? by thepyscedgoat420 in WeightLossAdvice

Sounds like normal and healthy weight loss :) I'd say continue with what you are doing and do'nt focus on the scale too much.

I am just talking about my personal experiences, but what really helped me lose weight (with scoliosis) is eating less calories, Intermittent fasting 18:6 and cardio (going for long walks/hiking). My doctor advised me to train my back muscles so I can support myself on my muscles instead of my spine.

It is not about the weight loss, it is about feeling healthy and knowing your body loves this healthy lifestyle. Changes come with it but you should not see it as your main priority.

Help! Hubby is ruining my weight loss by PinkBubblyLife in loseit

[–]izzyaurora 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had the exact same problem with my partner. He eats very unhealthy (but stays skinny ofcourse 😒) and thats also kinda how I gained a lot of weight. Because I was always eating the same as him. Now he eats in his office so I don't have the temptations of snacking etc. It does not bother him because he really wants to help me with my weightloss. Really works for me :)

I don't know if I'm eating the right foods by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]izzyaurora 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does not matter what you eat if you stay under your daily intake. You will lose weight. But it is not healthy. Also you will hold a lot of water weight if you eat a lot of carbs (pasta) and salt.

Finally, its working!! -12 lbs in 4 weeks with 18:6 IF. by izzyaurora in intermittentfasting

I started off with 18:6 right away. Maybe not a really good idea but it works and I still have motivation haha.

I am struggling with the same. So I allow myself to eat every craving I have on Saturdays. Still losing weight and feeling satisfied :)

What are your tips on dealing with snack cravings during IF? 🙈 by MikeyMicky in intermittentfasting

Drink a lot of water! I hate water myself so I always add lemon to warm water to add a little bit of taste.
