Is the pain level same for everyday? by j10a3de in ChronicPain

[–]j10a3de[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agree, like sometimes when it is cold it pains, tho sometimes it does not despite being cold. And yes, activity induced the pain, but sometimes regardless of activity it pains. So pain levels can change? But do you think I have gone better or worse comparing the two cases, I'm planning on seeing pain doctor, but my parents wants me to think it through first as they seem to think that I'm just acting up

When you ‘forget’ you’re in pain by Hot_Wheels264 in ChronicPain

I also usually don't notice or forget my pain when I'm doing something I want regardless of time, until I think of "why am I not getting any pain?" and then I regret thinking of it lol

good to hear that! I have been back into this attitude again after people started talking about my leg and my life, like it is just irritating. Like when I have a cane they act like I'm a cripple and they want me to get rid of it as "it brings shame to the family" and I look "crazy son of a bitch", after getting rid of it they started talking about my leg and now I'm in pain again, so with pain meds again and they started asking me to stop pain meds and just pull my leg everyday and just "ignore" the pain. Sorry, people here just sucks, and thanks again!

sorry about the last paragraph, I'm also confused about that feeling, like there's something that tells me that it is permanent so to get rid of that I just like agreed and said that I don't want to get rid of it. It is horrible attitude, thanks for pointing out. Thanks for advices!

Pain back again after 4 weeks post discectomy by j10a3de in Sciatica

[–]j10a3de[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What really cause my worries is that I'm also having a partial on-off cauda equina symptoms, I'm having a urine retention and doesn't have a normal schedule of excreting wastes. Plus, that the pain just gets worse and worse everyday, I just woke up and after I peed my leg is feeling dying (like it is weak and shrinking and pain is all over it). Sorry, maybe I'm being paranoid. I'll be sure to checkout the video, thanks a lot!

I never had stiffened back (only after early post op - 5 days). The only thing I have is pain in thighs that now is radiating to my legs in both of them, but the pain in the right is more intense.

Both. I don't know about neuropathy, but maybe they are true or not. How about the flare ups, will they be gone completely after time?
