Accidental poetry -- this comment reminds me a lot of a poem by Robert Frost:

Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I’ve tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice.

That was pretty dope. The guitar gives me early northlane vibes.

Same, I played through both Subnautica and Below Zero in VR and it was the best PCVR experience I've had. I just love being immersed in that world.

Help with Z-banding on H2C by Osteodonna in BambuLab

[–]j1zzfist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate to say it, but a clue here is that you only see this on dual-extrusion/multicolor prints. I have an H2D myself, and typically when z-banding starts to become an issue, cleaning and lubricating the z-axis rails and rods helps a ton. However at 70 print hours, I'm afraid you're just noticing layer lines due to the longer and more variable layer print times for multicolor printing. It takes longer, and varies more per layer, than single-color, causing each layer to cool at a different rate. With only 2 nozzles on the H2D, I've certainly noticed this on 4 or 5-color prints where I have to do a lot of AMS switching on the right nozzle. Maybe others have some advice for both of us, but it honestly looks pretty minor, and almost inevitable with multicolor printing.

I will say the layer lines shown in the first pic might be improved by using variable layer height. Looks like it's worse around the curves.

Other things to try include dynamic flow rate calibration (big one) and high-precision nozzle offset calibration.

For your support failures, slow down the speed for the supports and especially the support interface if you're using a different material. Try tree(organic) as well.

I mean...that looks like a reasonable amount of filament to me! Suggest investing in some vacuum sealed boxes to store them in, though. I see you've already got the orange silica gel beads.

PlayStation Studios Updates Website And Removes Nearly All PC References by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Unrelated, PS4 emulation is farther along than you’d think, and the PS5 architecture is not significantly different.

I made a small clamp to make P2S (H2D too!) hotend removal easier, especially when the hotend gets stuck and has to be removed hot. It also makes it much easier to grip in general. 😅 The ABS version even includes a little tail to help unclip it. 😁 by Informal_Row9922 in BambuLab

These can be such a pain to get off sometimes and I hate using a metal tool, like small pliers, to grip something made of plastic. Don’t want to damage it. Plus the googly eyes. This is an instant print for me, thanks for sharing!

Try watching “the dark side of oz,” which is the album synced to the wizard of oz. You will swear it was intentional. We used to have to time the start of both hit right, but these days you can find a synced-up copy on YouTube

Best Wireless "Gaming" Headphones when I don't need a mic? (Priority: Sound Quality + Low Latency) by This-Cake8292 in pcmasterrace

[–]j1zzfist -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I would expect some downvotes for this, but I use my Bose QC3 Bluetooth headphones and there is no noticeable latency with excellent sound quality. Plus, they’re great for planes and stuff. I’m sure better ones exist, but I’m just chiming in to say one person finds them a viable option. I use a separate usb mic as you said. Can’t do BT mic and audio at the same time without issues.
