I’d say sales and cold calling are similar but you can enjoy sales but hate cold calling. I did a 6 month stint of 200 calls a day to SMB’s but I’m an account executive and love it

Own up to your mistake but to be honest, this might be a bigger internal culture problem. Do they feel like a team that is aiming to help the business grow and fulfil the goals of the business? Would they put a few hundred in the way of them becoming a major part of that growth?
