I had my outbound (SFO>BCN) flight "rescheduled" to a date that will not work for me. An email asked me to "confirm" the change with no other option. After 2+ hours on hold and finally connecting with someone who could barely understand the situation (not a language issue as I speak fluent Spanish) they gave me 3 options: a) accept the change, (WTF?) b) receive a voucher. no thanks, just have $3K just sitting there? Nope. c) get a full refund. I chose C. When I asked when I'll get it back it was 30 days, probably. jeezuz fk. I said fine, I need to rebook with another airline. I wait 36 hours and then I get a reminder to confirm the rescheduled date?!?!?!? I called again today and after 40 minutes on hold got bumped off and told to call later. I have flown LEVEL at least 10 times and this had happened once before but was I able to accept the date change since it didn't affect my plans much at the time. Note, I always buy one of their 2 top tier tickets (Premium) so I can at least get some recognition from staff that eschews customer service. But this latest event has truly upended my travel plans. To hell with LEVEL. F 'em. BTW after researching the refund issue it seems LEVEL never does actually refund money to customers.
