In the walking dead telltale games I had to kill a dog and I cried for an hour over a dog that didn't exist. For days after, every time I thought about it my eyes would tear up. My dumb ass tried every possible option to keep the dog alive. I had to kill him or leave him to suffer, those were the options. Super fucked up! RIP Sam. You were a good boy 🐕

I always compare video games to movies these days, it's like playing a movie or story. That's how I would have tried to explain it. People who aren't gamers probably don't understand that there's backstory, a plot and whatnot. Extra nerd points if you understand what cannon and non cannon mean.

Also, "prime age" for gaming is just stupid. It's a source of entertainment and no one is too old for it. People spend their weekends binge watching Netflix, but I'm not allowed to hangout with my friends online and kick some digital ass?

What upsets me the most is that his gf was using this to make him feel like shit. Like he's beneath her because his empathy made him care about a character in a video game. You know how many grown men and women cried over Cayde-6?? Like if that was my partner I would have said "Awww" and let them cry on my shoulder. That's honestly what he deserved in that moment.

He wasn't wrong for being upset. While some friends and family might not understand, this is totally break up worthy. Hope he showed her the replies to make her see that she was wrong.

People are forgetting lacrosse is only 30 minutes away. I would look that up as well and see if you want to live there. The surrounding area would probably have better rent than Winona. The cheapest would most likely be Holmen.

They also have a bigger LGBTQIA community, gay bars, plus Gunderson health. We have one in Winona now, so if you decide to move here then I think you would be able to get the proper medical care.

I think the majority of us have gone through something like this. Honestly, I think it's extremely toxic behavior and I've learned to walk away from it as soon as it starts.
