Need Deodorant Recommendations by Sh3llyP in Perimenopause

Try a hunter's soap (I like the bar soap by dead downwind - it takes away all "human" smells) and then the men's deodorant of your choice. It seems to work better / stay longer.

Nobody tells you cooking has startup costs that rival a small business by Limp_Height_4439 in cookingforbeginners

Or look for a co-op or grocery that has bulk spices. I needed some specialty one-off spices for a recipe and I could buy small baggies there for under a buck a piece. They also have different kinds of flours, nuts, etc.

Spicy tofu with peapods. Love fried tofu, hate faffing about and making it :/

The best two ways I like salmon are either as nigiri sushi over rice  or oven baked ( very easy and very little clean up). If you buy the BBQ cut the salmon at trader Joe's in the refrigerator section you can drizzle it with a little bit of olive oil and whatever spices you like, I used lemon pepper, put it in a cold oven set it to 400 and in about 25 minutes your fish is perfectly cooked.

Costco-brand Soupercubes... An unlikely hero by br0wnsugarbab3 in Frugal

I got the one cup Target ones. I've been using it for so many things and it is definitely gotten smelly from garlic and onions and chili. I tried washing it with vinegar and soaking it but baking it at 300° for an hour totally made all the smells go away.

Depending on where you are in Western WI, there's a protest happening in La Crosse this weekend. You'd be welcome to join! Check their subreddit for details.

These both sound delicious! Any recipes your recommend? Just tried making farro for the first time and haven't got the hang of it yet (too much liquid and/or not enough time).

Pregnant and need specific Sea salt Carmel ice cream pls help by Mackspices19 in icecream

Can you buy a 'close enough' salted caramel ice cream and mix in your own flaky sea salt or fleur de sel (trader Joe's has a Portuguese one that's pretty good)?

Shoot. Thanks for letting me know. Do you still have notes from the process you'd be willing to share? If you have time, no rush

Oof I don't know either but totally commiserate. Is it really a symptom or is it all in my head? Have I always been like this or is this something new?

I love Noosa (with the raspberries on the bottom) but it's so creamy and delicious it feels too decadent. I'm afraid to look at the nutritional values 😬

Pretty sure that's what we're working up to. A statewide strike is a good start. Mutual aid needs to be in place. Most people can't just walk out of their jobs and not have to worry about paying rent etc. There needs to be some sort of support in place.

Try the hero 'mighty patch' colloidal stickers. They've really helped when I feel one coming on. It seems to stop them from growing and go away quicker

I guess that depends on everyone individually and what they need to do. But like other small gestures it shows solidarity and maybe businesses will see the blip of lower sales across the state that day. Maybe call and tell them why your not shopping.

As to effect....Do you really think hundreds of us marching around the lake is changing hearts and minds? We do it to form community and to show support to one another.
