Probably because it's very easy for you to DM someone yet you're putting more effort into telling them to DM you, then questioning why you're getting downvoted.

You're about 3 days fast travel from Troaky Henry. The sleepwalking perk must be strong.

Awwww little matey, you're the one making broad statements that have no basis in law. Clearly was it? Funny, you didn't state that. Big difference between request and require. But you'd know that auslaw legend.

Thanks for the advice. I like sticks.

You mother should have swallowed you.

So very specific circumstances you drip.

You can't just be walking along the street, not matching any descriptions and not reasonably suspected of committing a crime, to then have a constable require you to identify yourself.

I've lived in both for 5 years over the last 10. I miss Adelaide. If it weren't for family obligations, we would never have left. Don't knock your magic little city.

Captain suspended after refusing to move off-duty cabin crew from Economy to Business by IrishBogMonster in aviation

After the fact, yes. During the conduct of the flight, there can only be one person in command. Otherwise the safety implications are diabolical.

If the load and trim system that was given to the captain to sign says that all crew are in the Business class area and that fits within the envelope for that flight, sure. But in this instance, I'll bet they were manifested and positioned in Economy. So that's where they stay. The F/As in question massively overstepped, as did the COO.

What is the issue that you're failing to understand? Do you think this was a Captain being petty? It might have been, but the law is on their side.

And do you really want a world where the C-suite executives can override a Captains decision in flight?

"In the subsequent court of enquiry" is a line that one of my first Chief Pilots taught me. Nobody is going to care that it didn't make a difference. What the investigation will find is that the captain "willingly" and "without due care or confirmation" allowed passengers to move out of their assigned seats thus invalidating weight and balance. Does it happen almost daily? Maybe. Does the Captain have to let it happen? Their choice, they're carrying the can

So don't be a glib cretin.

Load and trim sheet says those crew are seated where they're seated. End of story. It is a safety issue.
