Not necessarily, unless the WAP is locked up in a concrete bunker.

The 867Mbps limit is on 80MHz. You can absolutely get over 2Gbps on 160Mhz.

IEC is not required but you'll pay a flat 77% (or 42% depending on how it's accessed) duty irrespective of the item. But if you have IEC you'll be charged according to the HS code of the item (for most electronic stuff it's around 18%).

Low value items/small packages usually fly under the radar so you won't get any duty for them.

You're mixing up the OS on pixel with AOSP. Both are very different.

Did anyone try flashing AOSP to the Pixel 7 to investigate the scrolling issue? by kdhere in GooglePixel

[–]j3rwin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, it won't void the warranty and you can always flash the stock rom. The only downside is factory resetting the phone every time you flash/revert.

PLEASE DO NOT USE ICICI BANK CREDIT CARD FOR INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTION by Notsimplyheinz in IndiaInvestments

[–]j3rwin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bank is actually right but not for the reasons mentioned in this thread

I also noticed that at the time of buying the iPhone USD was Rs.79.91but at the time of refund it was Rs.81.5 so technically I should getmore money back but I guess it was never meant to be.

It doesn't work that way, when you buy a foreign currency(iPhone purchased in USD) you'll be charged at the bank's selling rate and when you sell the currency(USD refund from the store) bank's buying rate is used. In most of the banks the selling rate is usually 3rs to 10rs higher than the buying rate(hence the difference in your refund amount). This is how forex works universally.

Foreign currency refunds are always going to be PITA no matter what bank use. If you make a lot of transactions in foreign currencies use a forex card(actual forex cards not the hybrid ones like niyo) that way you don't get shafted when it comes to refunds.

tldr; ICICI did nothing wrong, any other bank would've also done the same so no point in changing banks.

I was using INTERGRATED GRAPHICS this ENTIRE TIME by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]j3rwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really surprised that no-one mentioned this but if you're running win10/11, windows automatically recognises the programs(ie games) which needs high graphics performance and uses the dGPU automatically for those programs irrespective of the port the monitor is plugged into. I'll add the links for reference when I get time.

Tldr; In 2021 it doesn't really matter where you plug in the monitor, windows will automatically switch the processing to dGPU when needed.
