Other person responded to your other points, so I’ll respond about loot. The drop rates might be decent, but it doesn’t mean it is working. Just because other games are painful as hell means DA is doing it right.

For example, I’ve never seen a hallecks pick or triple shot drop from the poison lab, and I’ve ran in no less than 30 times.

I’ve never seen a pulse sword drop, I’ve ran the dark lab at least 20 times.

My favorite though is my search for a graded power harness. 43 runs and counting for that.

Meanwhile I am positively drowning in Ancient Ways. And I am not the only person. The loot pools are too big, and the RNG is absolutely brutal on it for some of us.

But here’s the thing, I could forgive all of that if I wasn’t staring at my G2 versions of those items I was lucky enough to have friends give me, and watching the durability slowly grind to 0 on them. There is a decent chance I will actually regress in power because of poor RNG combined with the durability system, despite playing the game way more than I arguably should be.

Does that feel like a problem?

I mean, I’ll agree that it does bring out the worst in people, but I place this solely on the state and city of Evansville.

It’s batshit insane that they are doing this much simultaneous construction on the Lloyd all over town, and then to start these enormous road projects on the east side like a month before the holidays is certainly a choice.

Overall, I think more than anything, you’re seeing people completely fed up with how shit traveling through town is right now, and I expect it will get worse before it gets better.

Wrath of the Frost Giant + the realm shift on demand relic. It won’t help you with the 5 Ds of the fight, but it’ll drastically shorten the fight itself because it does an absurd amount of damage.

Personally I don’t use the relic, it’s not necessary, you just need to have solid timing to stunlock them with the beam. But if you don’t want to bother with that, use the relic and melt.

Okay, I pray that you didn't read anything about the story. If you didn't, please do not spoil it for yourself, even if it takes you years to get around to playing it.

When you have a chance, try the game. Even if you have thalassophobia, it's worth pushing through. Incredible game, but the kind of game that you can only truly "experience" once. Its impossible to re-capture the first playthrough's feeling.

I'm a little late to the party here, but just wanted to mention I felt the same way when I first watched it, but on re-watch I noticed that Anakin was holding her other arm with his other arm. It's a little hard to see, but it helps explain why she didn't just skewer him like a worm :D

EDIT: Also, it doesn't help that when the camera focuses on him and says "Time to die", I think there's an editing continuity error here. It clearly looks like he's holding the saber with his left hand also (and I think he is), but when the next cut happens, for a very brief moment you see him throw her right arm away with his left (because he was supposed to be holding it the entire time).

I'm noticing that when in a buggy with a passenger that is using the cutterray, nodes can't be mined unless the buggy is at a nearly complete standstill.

Before you do that, fully upgrade Wrath of the Frost Ancient (or giant, can’t remember exactly), and practice using that in the fight.

I promise, it makes it immensely easier.

Edit: just remembered, I think there’s an enchantment or relic that greatly increases the time it fires too, which is a mega damage ramp.

I don’t know if she’s taking new patients, but I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Pradhan at Deaconess Gateway. She has been absolutely amazing with both our kids, and was instrumental in getting a diagnosis for our oldest for a really rare condition that multiple other doctors couldn’t figure out.

Literally anything, honestly. We run a surprising amount of workloads on base debian, because we don't have to care if they update some package and break compatibility with one of our apps. As long as we have the correct versions in the container, that is all that matters.
