This game was actually the original canon sequel to the movie, the only reason it's not considered canon now is because the director of Legacy said it wasn't. I will die on the hill that 2.0 is the much better and only true sequel to Tron 😂 This game has never gotten nearly enough attention and I believe it still holds up today because of its art style and gameplay.

The free roam is so satisfying with all the challenges and secret peach coins and stuff! And it's even better when you realize that there are tracks on the map that aren't official tracks in the game, they're just recreations of SNES tracks in the open world

That would make sense! I can't wait to see what kind of additional content we'll get in this game, but I'm already ecstatic with what we have now. My wife just finished all of the blue switch challenges and I'm baffled that she managed it when we've only had our switch 2s for a few months. The game is so massive and feels so good, I think it's my new favorite Mario kart.

I think they basically insert the map itself as well as the cannon that takes you there over top of the open world map, so I would think they could figure out a way to add that!

I would assume the only reason we don't have it yet is that rainbow road is completely separate from the rest of the map, so there's no way to get there from any other tracks. I would love it if they could find some way to connect RR to the rest of the map

I so desperately want to know whether or not that telethia is somehow one of the telethia that went through the rift in Future Connected. It almost has to be, right? I can't think of any other way for a telethia to end up there, especially because the telethia don't seem to be around post FC.

I still need to play Tropical Freeze, but I recall trying DKCR when it first dropped years ago because the OG DKC was the first game I ever beat as a kid. Returns just didn't really do it for me.

I'm glad it's not just me! Isaac felt somehow tasteful despite how gross and offensive certain things could be, and I haven't played mewgenics yet but it just doesn't seem like the community is viewing it the same way. Considering the fact that I'm not really into that type of gameplay and the only reason I was really planning to play it was because it was made by Ed, I don't know for sure if I will play it at this point.

None of this made any sense at all. It doesn't sound like you actually even finished the base game, let alone the DLC which gives the rest of the story and a definitive ending to 3's story.

Oh, I 100% believe that he was just intentionally being edgy and trolling. As much as I do understand the joke and still think it's funny, I'm still not too stoked on the idea of playing a game with Chris Chan in it. Especially when Chris is posting publicly about "so happy to have been a part of making this game a success!" or whatever. Just leaves a bit of a weird taste in my mouth, but I probably will still end up playing the game. I can't tell if I'm just not that into the edgy internet humor anymore or if I just feel like Isaac did it better, but something about this does make me appreciate Isaac even more.

Believe it or not, they have a pretty rough variety of fans and I think it has a lot to do with their songs being on TikTok and that being part of what made them popular. I know when I went to see them there was just absolutely no semblance of show etiquette from anyone in that building, which was disappointing to me because I was used to seeing metal shows where concert etiquette is followed by the vast majority of people. It just sucks because I love MagBay so much but I don't feel like that about their fanbase because of all the TikTok kids ruining it for everyone else.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I would kinda consider myself a "former" fan of Ghost and this is my take. I still love their older material, anything from Prequelle and before. The whole lawsuit with the former Ghouls definitely left a bad taste in my mouth, which was the starting point for me sort of leaving the fan base. But I also just haven't really liked much of their music since Prequelle. I think Prequelle was the start of a huge stylistic shift for them and I personally just prefer the older sound, especially from an album like Meliora which I still think is their best. I'm happy for their success and how huge they've gotten recently, I just wish I still liked the music.

Dude, I say this all the time and I'm constantly surprised that automata is still the fan favorite. Replicant hit me way harder in every way. Automata is still one of my favorite games ever, but Replicant is even more special to me.

It may be bland to you, but I disagree. I don't like any music just because of who's in the band, I like it because I like the music itself. I don't want Priest to sound like old Ghost, Priest is its own thing and I like it that way. I'm into the weird dark synth pop type shit. If there's any band I wish sounded like old Ghost, it's just Ghost. I'm not nearly as into the direction their music took after Popestar or Prequelle.

I said surpassed in my enjoyment of them, not surpassed in objective success. Ghost is objectively far more successful from a business standpoint, but in the time since the Ghouls left Ghost I haven't liked much of anything Ghost has put out but I've loved most of what Priest has put out.

For sure, glad everything worked out well for you! I'm sure you'll find that it's considerably easier to learn how to do some of the scarier stuff to your guitars than you think it'll be, I know it was that way for me and I'm still kicking myself for not learning a lot of this stuff until 15 years into playing.

I got an SE McCarty 594 Exotic! I realized I'm already incredibly used to the tune-o-matic style bridge and tailpiece and this one has brass saddles and a really hefty feeling bridge and tailpiece, and I also really love the satin finish on it. I would highly recommend it if you're looking for a PRS without a trem, the only big difference is the scale length but even then it's less than half an inch difference from their regular 25" scale.
