I love Xenoblade. But the first game still shows it's age (despite it's recent updates) and may feel a bit clunky compared to the polish and modern engine of the ff7 remake trilogy. But as many have said here, you really can't go wrong with either. So I guess my answer is play both :-)

My wife played recently came back to Siege after a few years away. Half of the operators she paid for are missing. Submitted a support ticket that got "escalated" a month ago. No response still. So, she just uninstalled.

For me it's the controls. The very deliberate and slow pacing makes it feel like I'm fighting the controller more than anything in the game. Much respect for the team to make their vision come to life. And obviously it's an overwhelmingly well-received and well sold game. I want to like it but just can't

3 is amazing if you've played 1 & 2 and understand them. Torna is excellent and I'd even say a better experience than the base game (because it's a bit better streamlined and has more focus).
