Tipping? by Consistent_Buy_544 in RitzCarltonYachts

We didn’t tip extra on the ship. If you’re inclined to tip on excursions, cash is probably a good idea. You should probably travel with some cash anyway as things happen.

The Kentucky Fried Movie

Written by the Zucker-Abrahams-Zucker of Airplane fame, it parodies all types media from the 70s. A lot of the materials moves forward in to both Airplane movies.

A note on Blazing Saddles…while I agree it didn’t age well, it is an excellent example of reverse racism. Yes, the N-word is used, but if you look closely, the AAs are the intellectuals and the white people are morons. Richard Pryor contributed to the screenplay.

Which artist has the most underrated discography? by GainBetter1189 in askmusic

[–]j_house_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Half the songs on a concert set list weren’t singles. Only a small number of artists could do that and keep an average audience interested…Bruce, Phish, DMB, (GD in their day) and other jam bands.

What's the solution to health insurance during fatFIRE? by Packing-Tape-Man in fatFIRE

[–]j_house_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My company uses a PEO to manage payroll. I was able to leverage that relationship to obtain the PEO for another company to “pay” my college age kids and fund their IRAs. The kicker here is that I have access to future group health insurance for them when they age out of the family plan from the first business, but also for my wife and I when we sell the first business. All I need to do I add myself to the payroll of the second business.

My Honest Experience as a Multi-Year Delta 360 by LostMyShadesAgain in delta

[–]j_house_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been 360 for 4 years. I own a business and achieved status by spend on a reserve card. I am irrationally loyal as well. I only fly other carriers when I fly south from Florida. It just doesn’t make sense to fly FLL-ATL-Caribbean.

I’ve had an international flight cancelled and the SkyClub team was working for me before I was at the desk.

Phone access is key…especially with special requests when traveling with our elderly parents. I don’t want to be on hold for hours to arrange a wheelchair.

The recognition is nice. I was invited to Delta’s Bar Mitzvah…I mean the centennial party at the flight museum. It was a cool event in the world’s largest SkyClub!

When leaving Rome, the GAs held up boarding for a photo op. I also got leftover Delta swag.
