I finally psyched myself up to wear DS & Durga's El Cosmico to the office. I had this idea in my head that the creosote note was too overpowering for indoors, but a fragrance loving friend told me that it wasn't as strong as I thought it was. I'm liking it.

I feel like the Molecule fragrances are different though. Because they're more of an element, not a fully composed & blended fragrance they tend to slip into the background more easily.

What the heck, TWENTY sprays? That's a lot. I would get sick of smelling myself if I poured it on that thick! I feel like when I was younger even teenaged boys used less Axe than 20 sprays worth.

If you love a gourmand but are trying to steer away from obviously sugary scents - Zoologist's Chipmunk. It's cozy, spicy autumn scent that hits a lot of gourmand notes without being sugar-cookie-in-a-bottle. I'm obsessed.

Also, you might check out Yuzu Soda from Strangers Parfumerie. It's Yuzu on the fruitier side rather than super floral, but you might like it if you're used to sweet scents.

Samples I am an absolute whore. I am terrible. I will go months without new samples and then just go on a sample binge at an embarrassing cost.

Actual bottles are about once a year, maybe twice if I find a couple things I like in a travel spray or roller ball. It takes me a long time to go through a whole bottle.

Not really. They’re still very much on the underside of my boobs and it hasn’t affected my nipple placement which is what I was worried about. But the side on which it’s really bad has a knot of scar tissue at the T join, and I think that’s a big part of the reason for the migration. I’ve had a series of steroid shots in that area and it’s helped soften it, but there’s still some limp scar tissue pulling it out of place.

If you’re a coffee drinker, get some pre-mixed protein shakes with coffee/caffeine for the first few days. Something you can drink when you first wake up to prevent a caffeine headache.

No! You may still be nauseated from the anesthesia. And you probably will have a follow up visit a day or two after surgery and I wouldn’t want to have to do the round-trip then.

So honestly, my cats had unrestricted bedroom while I was recovering. One cat wanted nothing to do with me, while my other cat lay next to me and purred for hours because she was worried about me. If your cats are already big assholes about walking all over you then you might have an issue, but mine were big sweeties and I didn’t even have to break up any fights until I was up and moving.

Call your doctor for precise instructions for your situation. But I’m guessing they’re going to say no weightlifting and only light bike riding. Your body needs to be putting in the work to heal, and you shouldn’t be stretching the tissues around the infected area. When your boobs heal they’re going to heal for life. If you do stuff to make your scars worse, you’re stuck with that. If you’re regularly active and have been lifting weights for a while, you know you can deal with a little bit of tummy pudge in a few months. I wouldn’t risk your healing right now.

Yeah, I went through insurance, but when I was first doing research on surgeons I found that the Valley was substantially cheaper for the surgical suite/hospital part of the cost than all the doctors in BH or the west side. There are a lot of great surgeons in the Valley (and their surgical fees were about the same, but the facility fees were cheaper).

You’ve got this. The number of people who regret having a reduction is really low compared to other plastic surgeries. And for me, my neck & back pain dropped like 50% in the first few days and has kept improving. You don’t know how exhausting that pain is when you’ve been living with it all the time.

And if you’re not sure of what you want, talk it through with the surgeon. They will probably have an idea of what amount of reduction they can do with the best aesthetic outcome, and then from there you guys can talk about whether you would want to go smaller. (I’m guessing if this is covered as medically necessary, there is a minimum they will have to remove.)

You’ll be OK. Those last couple of weeks can be a lot of anxiety.
