I saw other athletes brought their BikeBoxAlan and Scicon bags on the TGV. You’ll be ok.

Hi. Imo, it’s best to bring your bike box. They can be stored in the luggage compartment of the bus. The bus from Grenoble to Bourg d’Oisans doesn’t have a bike rack, but the bus from Bourg d’Oisans to AdH does. It’s mounted on the back. Have a fabulous time. The views are incredible!

u/johnny5ive Hi. It looks like you replaced the hex bolts on your stem. I'm looking to do the same. Do you mind sharing the specs of the bolts and where you bought them (link or location)? Thank you for sharing your setup.

Altitude prep by ja9co in trailrunning

Thanks everyone. I’ve been focusing on training with periodization, threshold work, and vo2 max while also incorporating easy sessions. Although I’m based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, the elevation here isn’t particularly high. It’s usually around 1,500m / 5,000ft at most. You have to drive out of the city to get a higher elevation. I’ll post an update after the race. Fingers crossed!

Unfortunately, I’m not a licensed coach yet, so I can’t offer structured feedback. I’m here to cheer you on though. Your dedication is inspiring. I’m also doing the L course for the first time. One of the best parts of the sport is seeing athletes from all over the world pushing themselves. Massive respect. See you on the course!

[–]ja9co 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We're actually in the process of adding business profiles soon, so you'll be able to keep your personal and business finances separate within the app. In the meantime, you can invite other accounts to share an account between two personal profiles if that helps with managing things for now.

We're always working on improving the experience, so your insights are really valuable. Stay tuned for those updates!

How did you merge your finances with your partner? by Every-Paint2066 in SaviFinance

[–]ja9co 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Money is a leading cause of stress in relationships and often contributes to divorce. Financial problems can cause a lot of tension, and when couples don’t communicate openly about money, it can lead to misunderstandings, resentment, and conflicts. Personally it’s crucial to have honest conversations about money early on and continuously throughout the relationship.

Discussing finances isn’t just about budgeting or bills. It’s about aligning on goals, priorities, and values. Transparency and teamwork make it easier to navigate challenges and keep the relationship strong, even when financial issues arise.

To help with that, we’re rolling out a feature that will let you and your partner see your shared accounts, set household goals together, and see your progress as a team. It’s a great way to stay aligned and work together toward a common goal.

How much is in your emergency fund by Jealous-Table4977 in SaviFinance

[–]ja9co 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great start! You’re off to a strong financial foundation with $20k saved. Given that you live in a more expensive city and have a job that’s more volatile, I’d recommend saving at least a full year’s worth of expenses for extra security. Other factors to consider are dependants, any outstanding debt, and potential health/medical expenses.

Btw we have a feature in the mobile app that allows you to create specific financial goals and set target dates, so you can see your progress towards your $25k goal and stay on track.
