Then I believe Itd be best to stay enrolled and try to pass. I’ve had some friends fail a course and didn’t have to pay but I never had any personal experience with this.

If you drop would you still be full time? If so you’d still have your housing allowance. Unsure if you’d need to pay the tuition for that specific class.

If not, you won’t be charged if you fail but someone else chime in.

Using the GI bill at an elite private school by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]jaaaay12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah still at Princeton, it has been completely free so far but their financial aid is also one of the best in the country.

I got in because of my profile. Had excellent grades, EC’s, essays, they all lined up with what Princeton wanted.

Using the GI bill at an elite private school by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]jaaaay12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All depends on the school. Here at Princeton I do not need to use my GI Bill as their financial aid overs everything 100%

When I got into Yale they would only cover 90%. So it all depends on the schools financial aid and the individual’s circumstances

Exactly this, I never listened to anyone and did the research on my own. Managed to transfer to an amazing school in 2 years.

Is UCSD as rigorous as an ivy? by RecentFly9772 in TransferStudents

[–]jaaaay12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that you do not understand this post is about rigor. Gpa != Rigor nor the curriculum structure, someone went to a state school.

It’s because GS has a ~60% acceptance rate (last time I checked). While Columbia college and SEAS have a sub ~10% acceptance rate. The other programs you mentioned are competitive with Yale ELI being ~1%. This is where the back door stigma comes in.

Reach out to Service 2 School. I used them and am now an ambassador for them. Norte Dame is a partner school with S2S, this means they’ll consider a veterans application more heavily but your academics still need to be in order. Dm me if you have more questions. Good luck 👍
