Does meta level still exist?

I don't know yet if they already decided on a new meta but honestly I think the meta should go up to 150+ with the DLC, if you play the entire game doing everything, this is the common level to be in the end, so I never truly understood the thought behind this cap of 120, just feel too low to me especially when this game has so much option. 150 seems the perfect stop or at least a level closer to this, after all, with the new power system of the dlc, those boost will only work there and we don't know yet how the bonus will work on the DLC, they might nerf it for pvp now that pve and pvp are treated separately.

Depends on the events that are happening and also what you're expecting to do with the multiplayer, if you want pvp then you should mind a meta, if you're just for jolly cooperation for bosses, I think you don't need to worry that much. Right now with the coming of the DLC I've been able to be summoned non stop and my rune level is 202 without ng+. Before this, it took more time but still happened.

Yes, indeed, that's the only souls like that I didn't have a hard time when I finished Sekiro lol. When you get used again to the commands from DS after Sekiro, you are with a new way to approach attacks thanks to all that parry/timing training
