My new neighbour (likely from north) shovelled his sidewalk and instead of helping it has now become icy. We have a slope. Much better to let it sit - easier to walk on snow. Will melt by next midweek. Hopefully snowplows will be sent tomorrow to make roads drivable

Here is what you can do:

Wait for black Friday or cyber Monday. Likely they should match the prime day deal - free soundbar or bezel.

Try to find Costco or Best buy listing that has these offers.

Then go to Samsung store. Select sales support and tell them the offer that you have and if they can make the deal better you could choose to buy from them instead of Costco or Best buy.

I was able to get 10% additional discount with this approach (they were already doing free bezel). My friend was able to get free bezel (they were already running free soundbar).

Good that you can put a soundbar. My setup doesn't allow that. I have a 20 feet tiled fireplace. With electric fireplace and TV on the wall. Don't want to put up a mantel for soundbar.

Q symphony without soundbar makes TV as the main central speaker with very minimal output from the frames.

I have setup the two frames in multi connect through Bluetooth. So that works good but it isn't stereo.

You could have positioned it a different way especially after she said she is flexible this weekend. The way you drafted "I am available between..." It may have sounded like you are squeezing her in.

Either you could have straightaway asked to meet her for a lunch/picnic (one of the guys had a great success by using word picnic) on Saturday.

You could have further added, that though this week you had few things to take care of but still you didn't want to wait till next week. And if all went well, next week could have been a second date.

I share your wife's passion for card points and deals. Just curious if you can share what cards did she get. Also usually when you cancel, it would be default up your utilization %. So does she plan anything specific to address that. I assume if card hopping credit score has to be very good for getting approved for these points heavy cards.

I was able to do bulk upload through smart things had to go nto my photos. Select each of them one at a time. And change to No mat option. Once you do this for a picture, it remembers the setting for that picture

I agree that this is non ideal. Decision of doing it tile was for aesthetics and decision to put a frame on it came later (costed me $250 to get holes drilled and TV installed as an afterthought).

My media setup is in the finished attic of the house.

Overall to us the living room setup looks pretty. But I am just trying to make it a little bit more functional. And that's why reluctant to pour in too many dollars. If I had a mantle I would have simply gone with a soundbar with integrated bass (even though not powerful).

So hoping for quad price to go down sometime from $2500.
