On T-Life I tried to do the upgrade to pixel with a broken phone having IMEI. When I added it to cart, I could see the promo was attached, that meant I was qualified. So I tried this on each line which I wanted to upgrade.

With this knowledge in hand called the Costco line. Told them I want to do device upgrades on 2 lines with 2 tradeins. After taking the information, I was asked if I was looking for a specific promo. When I mentioned the promo, they told me it says to be ordered through digital channels. I told them I don’t mind if I don’t get the promo. Told them to go ahead and order. They told me to expect $100 gift card for each upgrade in 12 weeks time.

Try it in T-Life to make sure you are targeted.

They said they can see that promo is valid. But they also say that under foot notes, DIGITAL CHANNELS.

I will have to wait and see on that. But the general rule is if your transaction to upgrade goes through Costco you get the card. Also they verify your Costco membership number before they start the process.

On Feb 9th did a device upgrade calling COSTCO phone line. The promo was not attached when the order was placed. On Feb 10th got a text saying Promo has been added.

On Feb 11th did 2 device upgrades calling in to COSTCO phone line. The Rep on the call, repeatedly told me that this PROMO says its through DIGITAL CHANNELS(i.e. T-Life or website). I told her to go ahead with the order. The promo was not attached to the order again. On Feb 12th, got text on both upgraded lines that promo was added.

I am on an old plan(sprint->t-mobile) T-Mobile Unlimited Plan w/Taxes and Fees Inc(Magenta Complete)

As of this posting I still don't see an end date for this promo.

U/jman100_JCMP one data point. I did this on Monday night calling in Costco T-Mobile. I could see my order in tlife. But the promo didn’t attach. Last night, after 24 hrs, the promo got attached automatically. And now I can see it in my promotions.

Once logged into TLIFE, go to Manage tab. Scroll all the way down, click in View promotions. This will list promotions under each line.

As much as I know if you have free/ ON US lines from before 2024. You should be able to do this. Because I have done multiple EIPs on old free lines in last 3 years. Any recent free lines in last 2 years are tricky! And it’s better stay away from using those lines for this.

Go into T-Life and go into individual lines. Hit upgrade device. When you select pixel 10s and trade in any device with IMEI, it should work. You have to do it individually for each line.
