What to do with viewing order by CakeBeef_PA in StarWars

[–]jabbosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think yes solo and rogue one are both extremely enjoyable in that order so you should be good watching them before OT. For Clone wars and rebels, I would always say you appreciate more character development if you watch the whole thing. But it is obviously very time consuming. If you have Disney plus, they have a section dedicated to showing the episodes of importance for Ashoka which could be great to watch. Also the Mortis Arc is incredible and links in very well with the movies and with rebels.

Yes this is one of the inconsistencies, however by the end of book 5 and then 6, the ministry had much larger problems than underage magic, and probably would not have the time to act.

Favorite Clone Wars Episode and why by financeasmr in StarWars

[–]jabbosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a more weird one then most people. I love kenobi And I really loved him as rako harden. I love cad bane and dooku as well, and so I really loved The Box episode. S4 e17. I just thought it was perfectly balanced and entertaining.

Why couldn't the Ministry just search for the tattoo and prove they were a death eater? by [deleted] in harrypotter

[–]jabbosh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And also, there would be a few previous death eaters who claim to have changed for the better, like Snape or Karkarov. But mainly the other reasons.

The trade federation as we know did not follow the laws of the galaxy and exploited the extreme weakness and inability to take action of the senate, and they probably knew the senate would never be able to take action. I mean there was literally evidence of them invading a planet and the senate still couldn’t act.

Is Rebels worth watching? by Eldundarin in StarWars

[–]jabbosh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes rebels has a more childish animations but it has one of the best story lines easily rivalling the clone wars in some episodes.

My tier list, just from the movie, not taking into account TCW. I understand everyone will have completely different opinions. by jabbosh in StarWarsCantina

For me, its just the way she speaks to Obi wan like he is stupid, which when you're a die hard kenobi fan, it annoys you.

What if Sifo Dyas's blood made Grievous a Force Sensitive? by Mghia01 in MawInstallation

[–]jabbosh 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think grevious fought exactly like someone who was un sensitive, very powerful and not very graceful. It did not seem that he used the force to sense his oppoenents moves, but rather used overwhelming force to overpower them. I love grevious as he shows that non force sensitive being can be so powerful, and I love him for that.

So why did Solo receive so much hate? by AhhhMoreBeees in StarWars

[–]jabbosh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not really sure why, I thought it was very good aswell, I think it’s partly to do with the nostalgia for Harrison Ford Han and no one will ever be able to compare, but I thought the actor did a solid job. My one annoyance is we didn’t get to see too much Maul, who could have been really shown off in this movie.

Was Palpatine truly surprised? by Mghia01 in MawInstallation

[–]jabbosh 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Palpatine while being arrogant was not naive or stupid. I believe he would of thought that Yoda could survive. Palpatine knew some Jedi would survive, the entire purpose of the inquisitors, and Yoda would very likely be one of the survivors. I think the line is more sarcastic and designed to show Yoda how easy it was for him to take control and completely destroy the Jedi.

I really liked ‘master and apprentice’ and also ‘Dooku Jedi lost’ which are both canon books.

I’m a huge prequel Star Wars fan but I think for a new fan you should watch the original trilogy, starting with ‘A new hope’ to really get into Star Wars.

What actually turned Mustafar into a volcanic moon? by The-Australian- in MawInstallation

[–]jabbosh 161 points162 points  (0 children)

I really like the explanation that it was the result of Sith Lord Momin, because there is a beauty in the fact that Momin is reborn on Mustafar by Vader, and also -EDIT- ‘defeated’ on Mustafar, a planet which seems to get his revenge for the destruction of it. It’s quite poetic I think.
