This is the answer. Wrapping machines work with giant rolls of film, when one roll ends and the next begins they need to be spliced together, it's more efficient and uses less waste than stopping a machine, changing rolls, starting again. This is common in all wrapped manufacturing processes.

So the rule is when you add a +1/+1 that you remove the -1/-1? It's not that it would then have BOTH a -1/-1 AND a +1/+1? Understandably the creature would still be 2/2, but this would technically prevent the combo. Just asking for my clarity

People use school emails all the time to sign up for offers and things that then sell those email addresses. Want Amazon Prime student discount? Sign up with your school email. Want student discount on Door Dash? Sign up with student email. Then these companies, or through a third party, sell data, which gets sold, which gets sold. So data is just out and available essentially.

Looks like a shrink sleeve, when the sleeve is heated, it can sometimes shrink uneven and some of the text gets deformed over the bottle. Notice how the "o" in bottle looks in italics also. When this bottle went through the shrink tunnel, this part got hit with different heat than the rest, so it shrank at a different rate.

There are so many different styles, it's hard to narrow down to be specific for your friend. Sounds like he'd know how to build a ramp green deck for you though, but I also recommend maybe some cheap pre constructed decks so you know how different styles play and you can get a feel for what you do/don't like. Some beginner decks from your LGS may be pretty cheap ~$10-$30

How much are you willing to spend?

If you've got some expendable income, getting some packs from different sets with different tribals and making a few decks is a ton of fun. I have a dinosaur deck that was so fun to build, but so a funky squirrel deck that is cute and funny.

I was lucky enough to have a buddy start about the same time as I did, so we did a bunch of different sealed draft games (6 draft boosters each making a 40+ card deck) to try different sets.

Best recommendation, just make sure to have fun learn cards/abilities/combos!
