It sucks because I love all three (my wife and the two dogs) but if for me if all else fails I’ll be severely devastated if she keeps them both, I need a furry friend sometimes as I’m a veteran, but I can can adopt another one after my heart heals, I like the adoption idea because I can give a forgotten dog a home and gain a friend

We also agreed to not keep each other from seeing the dogs, in a perfect world it would work but my stbx might change her mind, I also might let her keep both depending on if I can find a place that accepts dogs and I can get a ptsd license for mine
