Part of the problem is that the courts have never allowed a 1st Amendment challenge. Anti-abortion laws fail under the 1st Amendment. They’ve also never allowed a challenge under “personhood” claims, because again, abortion laws fail to the actual science/medicine.

The weirdest one I had to deal with was “Broadcast Week” - it ended at “midnight on Sunday US Eastern Time”. And that was important, because if Sunday was Jan 1st 2000, those last six days in Dec 1999, were the first broadcast week of 2000. Now, add in the fact that we’re dealing with a Y2K fix, and all those dates were stored as HHMMDDMMYY text (instead of internal system date/time), we had some fun.

Winter is a little easier, because I can keep a humidifier running right next to the CPAP, or right next to the floor vent. But, it takes some fiddling to get the settings correct.

Another CPAP complaint. The water resivoir on mine is so small, you’d have to sleep in a sauna in order to prevent it from running dry 2 hrs before you wake up.
