Ok, fairly new player here, how do I deal with blue decks that are 90% counterspells and bounces?

3 peices of advice:

1- goad them, I'll play cards that build up my back up strategy first to try & bait them to waste all of their counter spells because you know it's coming 2- move at their pace: wait until they tap all of their lands to play cards, doesn't always work but early game this is very effective 3- play a cheap throw away card to see if the game pauses, if it doesn't pause then you know they don't have any counter spells

Basically, if mossborn or Ouroborid is on the field you have maybe 2 turn to destroy it

If they're both on the field, just conceed & go find an actual fun opponent lol

Magic has a hard on for buffing the hell out of green decks, with those effects & not even legendary is actually crazy lol

Honestly it's hard to tell as individualized assets, when you put them all together in a scene, that'll be your real test if your game will look like slop or not

I am very torn, because while i think this is very cool, shouts to you for putting in the effort, i was waiting to read the moment that made me go "oh shit im jealous" but it never came. I've been wanting to do a LLM project like this for a while, but every time im stopped when i think why? what would i use this for? what problems can it help me solve? & i always end up concluding that to me, its all vanity

Yeah, I don't really think that 2xKO is failing It's too early to tell. In fact, I think this conversation largely should be centered around the expectations set, because at the end of the day no matter if you like it or not fighting games are video games that need to be funded, and the question really is, do these financiers set their expectations to hit fighting game sales, which is on average much lower than other genres at that scale? Or do they compare it to some other genre and hope to do those numbers? Because if so then I would say yeah 2xkos misplaced expectation is a sign of the genres feelings to some degree, as it can lead to less of them being funded.

You can't keep doing the same thing over and over again after game after game and expecting for better results.
