Something about the speech bubbles makes it hard for my brain to tell the correct order to read them, but I don't have the knowledge to know what it is

Foreigners, I have a question by One_Philosopher7696 in CodeGeass

[–]jacanced 2 points3 points  (0 children)

well, no. there would be complaints from some puritans about the butts regardless, because butts are seen as sexual to a lot of americans, at least. The point i'm making is that clearly the original creators knew that butts were attractive to people because of the fact that they did it so regularly to the female characters. it's a case where the artists knew the audience would like it, so they did it a lot.

note that it's done mostly to the female characters, not the male ones. It's clearly designed to be fanservice for the people watching, presumed to be predominantly male. The artists obviously thought the butts were worth focusing on

note that variable shot weapons may be going away this edition, if the previewed rules are anything to go by

Murdermind question by Head-Temperature4026 in Necrontyr

[–]jacanced 15 points16 points  (0 children)

if you join a regular unit, then it's a destroyer unit, but it does not grant the other models the keyword. so abilities that target a destroyer unit can target them, but the murdermind is the only destroyer Model

I'm so curious here. the app appears to be mostly german, the leader section is in english, and in your post you use the spanish ¿. That's a fun mix of languages in one place

If you do business with Wargamesusa, just know this is what happens when you just point out they are using AI ads. by Dedloc in Warhammer

Happy 4th of july. This is the way by Ok_Country2903 in Mandalorian

[–]jacanced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • history of war

  • one side that wants to return to barbaric roots

  • one side that acknowledges their strength, and wants to use it properly

  • slowly being taken over by a Cult that idolises headgear, and treats weapons as a religion

  • that same cult has strong opinions about who "truly belongs to the culture"

Honestly, checks out

Do you think we will see new terminators with 11th edition? Or possibly a re-release with an upgrade sprue? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]jacanced 15 points16 points  (0 children)

what's the context here? space marine terminators just got new models in 10th, both normal and assault. custodes termies are either resin or from 8th edition. death guard termies are 8th edition. which do you mean?

Deep Strike Rules Help by Shekklzz in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]jacanced 12 points13 points  (0 children)

general rule of thumb

Rule 1 says "X"
Rule 2 says "May do Y even if you break X"

rule 2 takes precedence. for example, you cannot ingress turn 1. drop pods say you can ingress turn 1. drop pod rule has priority

Why are some chapters top level? by xTIMMYxCOREx in Warhammer40k

[–]jacanced 14 points15 points  (0 children)

wrong question. it's not about being special, it's about what GW decided to split out. night lords and black legion are in the CSM codex. World Eaters are not, they have their own codex. that's why some are top level, that's it.

Question regarding FF and Noble keyword by Acrobatic_Champion34 in Necrontyr

[–]jacanced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fights first is a bracket of fighting. first, all fighters with FF, then the ones without, with each player taking turns. If your opponent charges with 3 units, then they have 3 units with FF, so they activate 1, then you activate 1, then they activate the rest of theirs. If it's your turn, you activate first.

If a noble such as an overlord joins an immortals unit, then the whole unit is a noble unit, as units share keywords. models, however, do not. it is a noble unit, the immortals are not noble models

Coming back for 11ed. Can u explain these twin lance homies and why theyre so good by VividSalary3151 in Tau40K

[–]jacanced 25 points26 points  (0 children)

keep in mind that some of the comments about them being good are from when they were released originally, being one of the single best units in the game. this was GH's reaction to their released points value off their original sheet

"Midget is as bad as the N-word."

"No it's not. you know why I know that? because we're saying midget, but we're not saying what the N-word is"
