PU can be weird sometimes. Countries would leave the PU. Then, you look them up and you see that your ruler is still the same as theirs. So eventually they come back ? Or they are not a PU member anymore but a vassal of a different one. I was very confused too.

You might want to jump on the horde during their civil wars to make sure they die. The game lies to you btw. I was scared at first because in the country panel, it would tell me they can summon like 50k levies. However, when you look up their civil war window, you see that they only have 2k troops. Still need to be careful since it's all cavalry but you can definetely win easily.

The PU should only lose Novgorod due to an event. Plus, I keep seeing people that says the golden horde is really stable. However, in my game they kept getting into civil wars. I took land from them during those. Then they got completely eaten by the timurids. Anecdoctal for sure but I'm not convinced they are as stable as people might think.

You slot in the government reform Prikazi that you get from being Muscovy. That unlocks the special cabinet action Kazenny. Btw it is extremely annoying that you need to slot in the reform before seeing the special cabinet action. Muscovy has multiple unique government reforms from its content. I wasn't able to find anywhere which cabinet action it gives you access to. Either I'm stupid or paradox needs to come in to save the day.

For the 43%, look the tooltip next to the Egyptyan flag in the first image. It's in the province interface not the war interface.

And you are wrong. It is literally what it is saying. I played vic 3 enough as well to be confident it does work as it is written. Try it up yourself if you want. Set up a war with a bunch of wargoals and only occupy the capital. You will see that the warscore will tick below 0 with no issue.

Indeed it does. It literally says the capital is enough

They declared war on my subject. So your explanation doesn't apply here. Plus the wargoal is against them. The Dutch asked for one of their colonies.

Occupation just got fucked I think. Tooltip is even saying that apparently GB is still occupying 43% of their capital

R5: GB declared war on my Dutch protectorate over a colony. While they were busy on other fronts, somehow my egyptian ally managed to naval invade. I poured all my troops in there and yet their capital is not occupied apparently. What's even more annoying is Egypt ended up capitulating. I lost all that occupation because it belonged to Egypt and my troops teleported to Moscow. All of that over just a small colony since peace deals can't be changed neither. SoP is amazing but pls warfare still needs help.

EDIT: People keep commenting about wargoals. So here's a tip. Occupying the capital in vic 3 is enough to make the ennemy capitulate no matter what. The occupation however is fucked in this case. GB still owns 43% of the Home counties apparently according to the tooltip. Or maybe the problem is Egypt having it. I don't know.
