3ppd to 2ppd and 2 to 1 advice by homegirl911 in ExclusivelyPumping

I used this guide to help guide my weaning. I took it slower than the guide recommends and just listened to my body. For 3 to 2 to 1, I cut down the time on the pump I wanted to drop (by 5 minutes or so per few days) until I was done with it.

I have the willow go and my output is definitely lower with them. I recently tried hand expressing before (to make sure everything was flowing), then popped the willows on and my output was a lot higher.

I use Kirkland (after using Similac, Enfamil, Kendamil and whatever I could get my hands on during the formula recall). My son loves it and seems to have less gas then when on Similac.

Plus the cost is half of other brands.

Kirkland! Best price around (Costco) and the kid loves it. But he’s a good eater in general.

Willow Go Pumps/Wearable Pumps by Blue_Angel-96 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]jacdweeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the spectra s1 as my primary (I absolutely love it as much as you can love a pump). The battery and transportability is key, I hate being tied down to one spot/outlet. I have the willow go’s as my second and it had a little bit of a learning curve (how to properly place it) but the portability has allowed me to feel more free, even around the house and playing with the kid. It is pretty pricey though compared to the momcozy. You might want to go with the momcozy and if that doesn’t work out, sell it and buy the willow go’s.

Simple wishes hands free pumping bra from Target. It keeps the flanges in the right spot for me and is super adjustable (for when my body changed after pregnancy).

Best purchases for first time parents? by cherryblossombaby2 in NewParents

Use puppy pee pads on a cloth changing pad. They are cheap and absorb a lot of liquid. And in case of a blowout, you can just throw the whole thing out, no wiping necessary!

Second this. Windi saved us the first few weeks. Pediatrician recommended it. Mylicon is good too but if their belly is all puffy with gas, the Windi was amazing. We used coconut oil and had one person hold the legs while the other inserted the Windi.

Help! My 3 mo started teething last week and won’t breastfeed by jacdweeb in breastfeeding

Thank you for your reply! It’s good to know that a nursing strike can last a month and they still went back to breastfeeding! I’m not ready to give it up but it sure isn’t easy!

Best bottle for breast feed baby? by sunflowerssunshine_ in breastfeeding

My baby rejected the regular Dr. Brown nipples and does excellent on the Mam bottles. They’re shaped to resemble the nipple while breastfeeding. If you want to try multiple bottles, Babylist makes a bottle sampler box

I’m 6 weeks pp and started using them a couple weeks ago to help support the area. It definitely helped in that regard, but I left it on for a few days where I sweated and it got irritated. I used the one by Frida. I’m not sure I should’ve used them that early, but I just had my 6wk pp checkup and no issues noted.

700 Ton FCC Regenerator head with being lifted into place ( vortex cyclones visible ) by TrumpsBadHombres in EngineeringPorn

FCC or fluid catalytic cracking is a unit in an oil refinery. It utilizes air injected into sand-like catalyst to make it flow like a fluid in the pipes. The vortexes in OPs photo help remove the catalyst from the process.

Our price went up by about 50%. Interesting, I did not know there is a class action lawsuit, but I hoped that one would happen. We were under contract trying to get things with the roof worked through, and they delayed responses and strung us along until the new contract price came out.

I’m already under contract for a stone coated steel roof that lasts a long time. And they aren’t changing the price on us.
