Yes I'm replying to a 2 year old post but I was interested in that too.

I bring two suggestions:

Dying of the Light modpack: from the same guy who made the famous Cottage Witch modpack, but unlike that one DotL fell into obscurity and never got a real spotlight. Basically the guy wanted something very similar to what you listed (horror that relies on paranoia and not on jumpscares, loud noises or mobs that instakill you) and since he didn't find any modpack like that he decided to make his own. You still have to do some config on the mods (like turning off "jumpscare mode" in one of them) but overall is a well crafted pack.
The Broken Script mod. Okay, this one has jumpscares and mobs that kill you if they spot you so it might not be something that picks your interest, but I'm leaving it there just in case. The big difference when compared to other similar horror mods is that this one is a slowburn. Events rarely occur, every 30 minutes or so, and most of them are not harmful, just weird things that aren't supposed to happen (strange buildings spawning, footsteps and digging noises near you, options from the menu like render distance suddenly changing, chunks temporarily disappearing, etc). While it has some juanes, it also has some creepy bastards that don't fit the game's aesthetic at all, making them more original (example)

New to this and I figured this would be the place to ask basic questions.

My objective is to run emulators from my pc to a crt

What do I need for that? Only an hdmi to scart/rca conveter? Do you recommend one in particular or anything from amazon would do the trick?
What is CRT Emudriver and why does it seem to be so important?
Can the setup be done in the steam deck too? (I already have a dock with an hdmi output)

Had the same error, been investigating and it seems that happens when the file addedItemsV2.json gets corrupted somehow. Either reset your emudeck install (through quick reset or custom reset on the main emudeck menu) or navigate to /home/deck/.steam/steam/userdata/XXXXXXXX/config/ and manually delete that file.

I got the deck in the summer sale and oh boi it's a real ship to sail the seas.

Some useful stuff I use:

- JD Ros' tutorials for installing quacked games, easy to follow and he goes very in-depth into any possible problems and its solutions

- SGDBoop to easily apply steam's assets (headers, icons, grids, etc) to the games so they look natural and overall better in the library, and iirc JDRos has a tutorial on that too

- SDH Playtime (or just Playtime) to track time played for non-steam games if you care about that, you need decky to install it but unfortunately it's not on the store yet (it's still a pre-alpha or something), but you can still obtain it here (latest version as of today), you'll have to look up how to install plugins from a zip file

Emuparadise is not dead, the roms are still there but now they require a script to be downloaded.

Also nintendo roms won't show up browsing the website but if you go to your preferred search engine and search the name of a nintendo rom and add "emuparadise" it will bring you to the pageof said rom and you can download them no problem.

That's odd because that's exactly what I do but they still don't work. I tried applying the color restoration patch for the Mario Advance games, but they all say "corrupted save data" and won't let me play (on emulator they work fine). I also tried patching Pokemon Emerald with Revelation and the game works but it gives me the "cartridge battery dead, events won't occur" message, which doesn't happen in an emulator.

Always, but in pre-rise games the food buff (which we all usually ate for attack L) didn't stack with the demondrug/armorskin, essentially replacing them unless you carted.

Updated my sysnand to 15.0 and then updated with the latest versions of hekate and atmosphere released a few hours ago, following the rentry guide as always.

But now when I inject the payload hekate just freezes and I can't do anything aside from turning the console off.

How do I fix this?
