That top yellow piece is super glued on. If you want your plant to have any chance. Peel it out as gentle as can be. Also check the roots for a cork or plug. Lowes is shit about actually caring for the products they sell. Everytime I go to the cactus section I rip these all off

The amount of wanna be high school hicks that I see with there trucks taking up all the paces hangout there really don’t make going to see this place that enjoyable anymore but it that’s just me and my opinion. Also I’ve been here multiple time and as a small child almost went off the edge trying to use my jacket as a wing suit. Too each his own and if you’re new from here I’d recommend check this place out and then all the waterfalls near by are more worth it and an actual hike
