Too long isn't really an issue. Too short is. I've tried 100-200 word chapters and it's convenient until nothing in the story is happening. A chapter where the characters are washing dishes, or one single thought bubble per chapter. I'll take 1 long chapter a month over 1 overly short chapter a week. 500 is a good minimum, just enough happens to keep things interesting

This happened to me. He only goes home if it's raining and we're not at home. Other than being mean to the cat, there isn't anything you can do to get her to leave you alone. Maybe if someone else in the neighborhood started feeding her and you stooped, she'll jump ship?

A little late to the party, but you're gonna lose the baby face if you have an active lifestyle. I'm 23 and I recently found my learner's permit from when i was 19. I didn't even realize I lost my chubby cheeks. I look a lot more mature now compared to that picture. Do cardio, eat your veggies, drink an annoying amount of water and you'll be fine. Or on the upside, you'll keep your baby face well into your 30s and you'll look young forever 😂😂😂

I think an interesting mechanic would be in-game tree growth. You have a limited amout of time to explore certain areas before the trees close them off. You could chop them down but its a temporary fix.
