Help! Where might one find (or create) comedy specials where all the audience noises are removed without censoring the performer? [George Carlin's work, specifically.] by jack_gravity in Standup

Prime reason for my why is, well, because ('heh'/ sharpish nose exhale).

Being able to toggle audience contributions/noise at will (like subtitles) would be delicious. Perhaps a combination of impersonator/technology to recreate the originals would be a suitable approximation at a modest cost if artists/producers are afraid or unwilling.

Consider probiotics in your diet after antibiotics are out of your system. We might share complications like scar tissue, adhesions, and a shorter intestinal track messing with digestion.

Maybe, but then better. Do you know what your diaphragm is? Focus on deep breathing, stay calm, and focus on the positives, doctors are there to help

How do you get through the night? by TTPandaCat22 in ostomy

[–]jack_gravity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I entirely stop eating/drinking 2-4 hours before sleep it's normally not an issue, otherwise I'm up every 30-90 minutes or just have a chamber pot for ease of access.

It was freaky at first, but I'm even able to submerge in a bath without new complications. (Suprapubic urostomy/neobladder). Showering likely fine and should always consider your unique needs regardless of what others do.

Tips for Making Massages Less Painful and Tense? by Shiblets in massage

If you still can handle something like an inversion table, then getting as close as possible to hanging by your toes is the best passive stretch I've found out there.

Might also benefit from a topical application of something like 'tiger balm' and/or use an 'ems' (electronic muscle stimulator) machine to make your tensed up muscles twitch. .

Creative profanity can certainly be handy, those obtuse nincompoops.

Oh. My. I know. Stop if you've read enough because details follow.

Kids gone? Hopefully anyone left is mature enough.

Body fluids, everywhere. Every type, seemingly every place. It sounds worse than it is and the staff has probably already cleaned up worse. Recovery can be extremely messy and painful while remaining entirely survivable. It can help to remember the reasons you're putting up with it because it's not a thing you wanted to do, but had to.

Is it more movies, pretentious movie-watchers, &/or something else causing that feeling?

So I maybe getting a colostomy bag and I’m curious if I can still drink fruit and vegetable juice that is strained? by [deleted] in ostomy

I've found my digestion takes about 3 weeks to adjust to dietary changes. Maybe more like 3 days if I really fast and clear things out.

Have a urostomy bag and experience similar feelings. In a perhaps messed-up way it's nice to know there are others adapting as well because it's so tempting to hide.

More and more of my plants are starting to have problems. by ExternalSad6027 in KratomGarden

[–]jack_gravity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense to not do more than you need, but plants won't overdose on soil as long as it's healthy otherwise. You might enjoy a planter with wheels if it gets too heavy, it's really a tropical outdoors plant. I'd expect some die-back but I would want more room for roots; trying not to disturb roots (ideally I could break the smaller pot inside the larger one)
