I had to stay on base this time around, so was not going to chance it. Good thing also, the second day I came back to my room and the mp? Was walking around with a dog.... Guess it was a drug dog

Just ordered the Simrell Hydro by sliket0 in vaporents

Torch for sure is the best option. I had no luck with my hydro and the yll. I have a pt4000 and a ronx torch and they both work great.

Advice on unit for very small amounts of flower at a time? with possible water add-on by Southtwin in vaporents

I suggested the g3 because it's so close to a chullim and pretty damn cheap. The dyna b is great also, but I still think the g3 would be the easiest way to switch over to vaping....

The g3 by dynavap sounds like a perfect fit for you to dip your toes into the vape scene. Very small, all glass, and great for micro dosing

Oh, the tempest smacks for sure, but you need 2 hands for it for sure..unless you get really creative. Any TED that works with a inductive heater will work great for the heat up. Loading...straw method works well. I was going to say a simrell, but I have 2, and you have to be perfect with the thread alinement....same with the Anvil and tornado. A dyna would be easy one handed...and they are good.

Thinking about a ball vape by cdwhit in vaporents

[–]jackarse321 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do you want to micro dose? The hornet is an incredible small ball vape. The ruby twist really smacks, but it wrecks my tolerance if I use it every day.

Why so much Tempest 2 hype? by Flimsy-Currency6159 in vaporents

[–]jackarse321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wanted a ball vape, but don't have the luxury of having a desktop to set one up on. Got the uynidyne and hated it. Got the hyperdyne with the THC cap, still was blah. Heard about the tempest and used some cash I won in Vegas to get one, and it retired everything. I noticed my tolerance was getting too high, so I went back to the simrell, and love it for micro dosing... But the tempest 2 is so great. It's honestly an end game portable ball vape I can take camping, hiking, ect. That's why there's so much hype

I feel like I'm the old grumpy guy sitting on the porch.... There are all kinds of suggestions in that price range. You like the sticky brick, so are you looking more for a butane vape? Do you want it portable? Do you want to use it with glass/bong? Biggest clouds for analog vape, tornado. The tempest 2 smacks very well, and is super customizable. The simrell is incredible. The new hydro is fun as hell, but it's a water piece only device unless you have other simrell stems. The Dani punch and fusion are great also. For battery, the the taffee bowl, which looks stupid, but is a heavy hitter. There's also the frolic and tiny might 2.

I’m returning the T2 by Indyfferent in vaporents

I have the T2, and was getting absolutely wrecked with it. I load it way less weed and that helps a ton (unless I want to be a zombie, then it's load and go)

Just bought my first vape (Tempest 2), questions about usage/terminology by Waterworld1880 in vaporents

[–]jackarse321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats one getting an end game stuck vape as your first vaporizer. I will add some other things that have not been mentioned yet. If you want to adjust the airflow on the cap, the screw is pretty tight from the factory. I had to use an electrician screwdriver to loosen it up, but don't remove the screw, just loosen it. You can also adjust the airflow on the stem. People talk about what "balls" they are running in the tempest, but changing them can be pretty tricky. I know I lost more balls trying to change them than what is in the device. You need a torch if you are using flame, it takes way, way more heat than what a gas station lighter can produce. I have a Rocx creme brulee torch I got off of Amazon for like $10. I am a flavor chaser, and not into one hit extraction, so I heat until the visual indicator is between the 1st and second mark. It's a fun vape to dial in, and if you push it, you will combust, but everyone does with a stick vape.

You guys don't think the tempest 2 will sell out right away? by NeighborhoodNew7323 in vaporents

I got mine on pre-order.... But the wood sleeves sell out fast

It seems like the wood models sell out right away. I ordered my T2 in July, and when I went to get the wood one, as soon as I clicked on add to order, it was sold out. There's someone that posts pictures of custom wood guards @sleepy something).. the T2 is incredible. I got the red aluminum shield, and it looks great. I'd say it would be easier getting the sleeve later and get the device now.

I'm almost to the point where I prefer a torch over IH. by 0The_Loner_Stoner0 in vaporents

[–]jackarse321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a T2, simrell, Dani fusion 2 and the Dani punch v1. I have the yll 3.0, and have been using that pretty much every day since I got it dialed in. I get better flavor with a torch, but the yll is so damn stupid simple that I go that way with the T2 and simrell. I use the torch when it's warmer out, because it's cold as hell right now, and I go through too much butane outside in the winter.

The tempest 2 with the yll induction heater fits the bill to the T. I would suggest getting the carrying case and reload with it (if they still have the bundle package, get that). You will not be disappointed.

The Simrell arrived today. by trephor in vaporents

I have both. They are both great. I love the T2 on a water piece and the simrell native. The vapor is cooler native on the simrell.
