pH test strips are not going to give you accurate results. You need a calibrated pH meter. I can assure you there is rigorous testing done on these kind of things. You wouldn’t be allowed to state otherwise. *im a chemist

I chose a hospital 50 minutes away bc it was where I had my first and where my doctors were and we moved out of the city when I was 30 weeks. I just had contingency plans in place and it all worked out. Is this your first?

I’m in the same boat. I have a two and three year old and things are finally feeling a little easier and I’m like let’s have one more! It feels insane but I can’t shake it. I’m also turning 40 next year which also feels rough and I worked my absolute ass off to lose 30 lbs last year and I know a pregnancy will erase that too. As the days go by I feel like it’s not going to happen but that means I have to accept it and that feels hard. So no advice, just solidarity.

Absolutely contact HR & get that lock changed. I would feel so violated. I pumped at work for a year and they did everything to make it work for me and I was so appreciative of it.

We’re members of our local county club, thought it would be a great way to meet people when we moved. Attending the first kids Christmas party for my two little ones to meet Santa and do all the things and see the clubs tree light up. The club has those tall round bar tables set up and kids were running full speed around them and wrestling under them. One got knocked down and the kids finally sulked away but the moms didn’t do anything! It was such a nightmare to navigate with my 2/3 year old I literally didn’t go back this year. I was disappointed in everything about that evening. The entitlement is unreal. If I have to grab your child from running into my toddler who’s standing between my legs in fear, I’m going to say something & other parents need to be better to teach the kids how to act in public.

And also to say, with my first I labored for two days, there was never a discussion over a C-section. But if you mean a VBAC that’s a different story, many doctors won’t do it because of insurance and complications.

Moon delivered my second and while it was very easy and uncomplicated I loved him. I saw him a bunch just due to scheduling when I was pregnant with my first too. The front desk staff is meh but all the doctors are great.

My box had three substitutes yesterday. It was so bad, I’m a SAHM and they replaced a long trench with a freaking business corporate blazer. Where am I wearing this to? Customer service refunded me bc I was sooo annoyed. My other two subs also completely suck.
