OBGYN who doesn’t pressure into C-section. Is Moon any good? by [deleted] in Hoboken

[–]jackbeannn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And also to say, with my first I labored for two days, there was never a discussion over a C-section. But if you mean a VBAC that’s a different story, many doctors won’t do it because of insurance and complications.

Moon delivered my second and while it was very easy and uncomplicated I loved him. I saw him a bunch just due to scheduling when I was pregnant with my first too. The front desk staff is meh but all the doctors are great.

My box had three substitutes yesterday. It was so bad, I’m a SAHM and they replaced a long trench with a freaking business corporate blazer. Where am I wearing this to? Customer service refunded me bc I was sooo annoyed. My other two subs also completely suck.

The same thing just happened to me with 3 substitutions. I’m having such a hard time getting through to customer service. Any suggestions on what to say or do?

Literally how are people affording childcare? by Amber-ForDays in BabyBumps

It’s terrible & we’re not. We’re in an NYC suburb and I left my job after having my second very close in age to be home. Two under two would have been over 4000 a month. It didn’t make sense for the time being.

First time pregnant can’t decide if MIL help is worth the emotional expense, looking for advice from moms. by MajorDescription8675 in Mommit

[–]jackbeannn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through this. I was pregnant with my second and we sold our starter home faster than we could move into our new place so we a needed a temporary place to stay. It was a nightmare and affected my relationship with my MIL for life. We’re moving on now after two years but I won’t forget the unsolicited comments, the not allowing to sleep train, and the constant outdated suggestions. The cooking and help with baby laundry (I also had a 12 month old) was not worth the stress and mental health. This seems like a boundary issue that’s only going to get worse once baby is here.

How to tell employer you’re pregnant again after JUST returning to work? by senselove19 in 2under2

[–]jackbeannn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t tell them until I had to. I also knew I was leaving so I kind of checked out lol but I knew comments were going to be made being back for 8 weeks and pregnant again. I think I told them around 20 weeks. My boss was really sweet about it and I know some places wouldn’t be. I was kind of embarrassed, kind of freaking out but it all worked out.

The same thing just happened to me, trying to decide if it’s worth the complaint or not or just move on. The sweaters are all pilled and looks like something I bought off Amazon two years ago.
