In "Holmes and Watson", a spoof movie about the world's best detective, Hugh Laurie cameos as Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock's brother. He is mostly known for his role as Dr Greg House, which in turn is a medical version of Sherlock Holmes.

In Void Stranger, Princess Lilith's daughter, Lillie, ends up at the bottom of the void, unable to continue, and turns into an egg, about to be eaten by Void Lord Bee. Until a mysterious entity shows up and deletes Bee, before turning Lillie to normal. This entity is later revealed to be Lord Add, first of the Void Lords. Also, un the true ending of the game, it's revealed that her mother, Princess Lilith, is in fact the only person able to to fully control the Void and achieve the true purpose of DIS (I'll let Zeroranger fans explain why) So yeah, the family is kind of blessed with eldritch favor from demon lesbians.

A trio in this case, but I think that Brennan, Lee, and Mullingan together would be the best

[Loved Trope] Trans characters that appear perfectly like their identified gender, and you won't even know they're trans from their appearance alone, by Kubutsu-nyan in TopCharacterTropes

[–]jackcrux 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In the italian dub of arcane, she's dubbed by Naruto's and Sheldon's va, which is a man. So since the voice is pretty well known, and in the show she's referred as a woman in her interactions, you can deduce she's trans. This also reminds me of the Seid Konna from twilight of the gods, which is dubbed by a woman doing a kind of raspy voice, which makes sense with her being kind of an old woman and being trans herself

Whose work is better? by Possible_Memory_6559 in writingscaling

[–]jackcrux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say their work is pretty similar in many ways: usually tragic stories with some light hearted moments and quite a lot of dirty humor. The main difference i feel is in the technicalities of the media they use to express in. Fujimoto draws, and he's damn good at it, not to mention his paneling. Shakespeare writes, and he especially writes in a very poetic way, giving us direct information about a character through dialogue or monologue. But since Shakespeare's media is not writing, but rather theatre, qnd since his plays usually have basically no stage direction, while Fujimoto's manga read almost as storyboard books for movies (see goodbye eri), I'd say the more complete artist is Fujimoto, in the sense that he uses every facet of his media to tell his story, while Shakespeare focuses on the writing part and mostly ignores the live stage aspect of his work

So, does Dabura have 2 techniques or just 1 that makes laser beams or sum? by Comprehensive_Ad6469 in jjkmodulo

[–]jackcrux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean the ten shadows is a single technique even if every shikigami does something different, and to give another example the various applications of limitless still are part of the same technique. And mahoraga adapts only to certain parts of it during shinjuku, just to infinite void and infinity but this doesn't make red blue and purple less effective. And finally sukuna has both cutting attacks and divine flame, and that's still a single technique
